I have a brand new pair of front struts (BORGE) and rears and a full set of rubber brake hoses, I brought them to replace mine but could,nt be assed so they are sat in my music room if you want to make me an offer for the parts you need. :P we might be able to come sort of deal.

As the Galaxy is quite high off the ground you can get away with a slightly darker tint,when I had mine done the guy at the garage called the lightest tint a waste of effort so I went for the next shade darker and as the car is higher than a normal car it dose not look as dark as it is. I went for 20% at the front 15% rear doors and quarter lights and 5% on the rear screen and I must admit the difference it makes is realy good. The cost was

As long as you know the basics in car repairs it is an easy job to do. Jack up car remove wheel,with the brake peddle pressed firmly down undo the hub nut (this has to be replaced with a new one) remove one of the bolts on the droplink bar,undo bottom ball joint and seperate the lower arm from the strut,take the old cv gator off and with a large club hammer or wooden malett give the cv jiont a heavty clout and it should pull apart from the drive shaft.(hold the shaft to stop it pulling out from the inner joint) Refitting is the same as you took apart, making sure you put the new bolt in to the right tourque.

Easy way to tell if it is your tyres is to swop them round, If it is the tyres it should pull to the other side.

I must admit that road camber dose seem to affect the steering more on the Shalaxy's. Try it in you local super market car park and see if it still pulls, I have 225/45 tyres on mine and some times I have a fight with the steering when the camber is steep.

Chances are it is a abs sensor, the only way to be sure is to Vag com it,I am not sure if the fluid warning light would light both up but I know an abs sensor will.

My input is, Would you have been so happy to accept that they put everything right if you had of lived on a main road :D .(my daughter means everything to me so even if nothing happened the fact that it could of is enough) The idea of taking it to a garage is that the mechanics should know what they are doing and apart from that the first thing the mechanic should have done was to take the car out on a road test to check the brakes him/herself. One saving grace is, this person is in a garage and not a mechanic for an airline. I have fitted hundreds of brakes to cars and vans and use to service a fleet of taxi's but I would never let a car out of the garage until it had ben road tested by myself or a qualified mechanic. I think you let them off lightly :angry: .

I am not a music person so don't have music on very often hence the rears were enough to keep me happy.I am not a person who wants everyone else on the road to hear what I'm listening to. Can you check the speakers with Vag com, I did'nt know that :blink:

Hey Steve are the old speakers still up for grabs, The wife decided to try and shut the rear door with a speaker stand not closed up :( and the rear 2 were the only good ones in the car :( .
