I would go for the Sharan everytime but it all depends on what he is asking for it.

I use to get that in my Sharan , it turned out to be a sticky thermostat.

Looks nice but I think it would look better if you had 75% at the front because the Galaxy windows are higher the light penatrates easy , I have been stopped twice at night and never had anything said about my fronts and they are 50%. All in all

It is a sensor for the alarm system, sometimes if you have not got the interior sensors they will just be an empty shell. Being a GLX you should have global closure and interior motion sensors , best way to check is to alarm the car with the window open and 30 seconds after put your hand in through the open window.

After loads of looking I couldn't find a TDi I liked with the money I had so plumped for an 03 tdci Mondeo estate Ghia Auto which I picked up for 3.5k because of high milage (134k) obviousley all motorway miles. Thanks for the advice though guys. :lol:

I use to drive back on the motorway at night doing a steady 110 and it was smooth add another 15mph and it did not feel happy, if I drove it at 90mph I was still getting 20mpg.

If you pump with the engine running do they come up at all,

The unit is not the cars main brain , I have taken mine out before because of water ingress and it had no effect on the unit, it is only held in place by 2 10mm nuts.

If you unplug the right hand plug from the brain under the passenger seat then all doors will only lock by hand, (r/h/s looking from front)

They are located on each wheel,to be honest with you if you did'nt know where they were I wouldn't advise you to try and fix yourself.

With all the wet weather we been having I would check the conections on the leads to the sensors, unplug them spray a bit of WD40 on them and see if that does the trick, it did for me a couple of months ago.

Water ingress through the scuttle tray will do the exact same thing, I would check to make sure the drain hole are not blocked.

A little more information would be of more help Does the whole car shake, is it through the steering wheel, can you feel it through the peddles ,dose it lessen it you dip the clutch, dose it happen in 4th at 70mph or even 3rd .

Only problem I see is if they sell cheap they come back and say item was damaged or lost. I have had dealing with them as well , and your better off going to Fraud and buy it new as the prices they gave me were only 15/20% off new price.

I forgot all about that, you can set the lights to flash with VagCom.

If you get a small piezo sirren and conect it to the boot lock (you can do this behind the rear quarter panel on the right hand side, looking from the rear ) then every time you activate the locking the piezo will sound.

As mentioned before once you have the coil pack, battery side cover and the hoses removed it is a simple job, I changed mine about 5 months ago, just make sure you have the O ring for the stat housing as well as the O ring for the pipe that runs under the exhust manifold.

Just to add a bit more info Model is WRT54G 4 channel ethernet router with wireless My internet provider is Blueyonder telewest My laptop is a Dell Precision M70 When I conect to the router and go throught the setup the icon in the task bar says I have limited conection at this stage I am not trying to config wireless. Will post later to update my progress. :P

I reset the button on the back and started the setup again, I got all the way to entering IP addresses etc and then it said it was lloking for internet conection after a while a box appeared and said no conection found. The ip etc I put in were what I found on the conected dialog box on the conection i am using now or are they different ?.

Hi it is a Linksys wireless-g 2.4 ghz I enter the admin password and the box disapears so I push next and it goes through the checking the system dialog and comes back up with enter password,I did this 4 times before I gave up. This was'nt even wireless it was connected by eithernet cable. :wacko:

Ok I tried to set up the network again tonight i have all the bits needed , my dell has wireless I have a laptop card for my toshiba and a usb wireless for my daughter PC upstairs. I have all the manuels as they are all new bits. On installing the router it asks for a password in the book it say's use admin it won't go any further and that is about as far as I got :wacko: For a total idiot (not that I am :huh: ) can anyone give me a step by step tutorial please, just for the dell to start with I don't want to confuse myself to much.
