Are you using any water as the prime suspect for that is the heater matrix

Have you asked the seller this question as he might know what you need if anything to go with it.

If you take the tdc pins out the top and turn it over till they come back up again then look at the bottom they may be there this time i'm sure it once for the top twice for the bottom,I've just woken up so might be talking bollo*ks.

One way is to ring the main dealer quoting your chassis number and they should be able to tell you if your car was fitted with remote function.

The power socket fuses should be above the relays a 20 amp fuse is fitted

Not all were fitted with remote locking but you can but an upgrade kit If you do a search for remote locking you will see that there are a posts and answers to this question.

I think you will find if you disconect you battery for 1/2 hour and then reconect put your key in the ingnition turn to the last position but do not start leave on for 20mins it should reset everything.

On the VR6 there is an alloy stabiliser bar to stop the engine rocking, can anyone tell me what the proper name for these are (part No would be helpful) and how much do they cost, I have slight play in mine so want to replace it. Fanku :huh:

I would suspect the thermostat has jamed open.

I have done a search of them on the net and only came up with links so they have'nt got a website. one line in the yellow pages and Thompson Thats not to say they ar''nt any good and should be cheaper than the big outfits :D

Just wondering if it is posible to alter the gear change in relation to the speed I am doing. If I drive normal the box is smooth and quiet If I floor it it red lines in each gear going into top at just over the ton What I would like is to floor the throttle but have the gearbox change at 5500rpm instead of red lining as I do not feel this is good for the engine. Is it possible

The name given to the way the gearbox reacts to the way you drive it is called Fuzzy logic :huh: . And no the sensor is not called Nigel , it's Brian

The ecu is the box with the multi plug on it bolted on the inside wing next to the battery.have'nt found the other yest will keep looking the book says it could be faulty ajustment on the selector rods.

It is posible that the Maf you brought is not right for your car and that the old one was playing up anyway, have you not got a mate who has on you could use to see if it is that problem.

First port of call, I would check the levels in the gearbox but it is more likley that the ECM (electronic control module located by the battery) which is called Fuzzy logic and that tells the gearbox you are in sport mode but it seems as if it is not changing back for normal driving conditions. Hope this helps.

Maybe the same thing I noticed the other day, if you have the interior fan on and it is on air con or climate the fan on the rad kicks in.

I had a Chrysler Voyager and took it to a garage to have the gearbox sorted out when I went to pick it up a few days later, they gave me the keys and said it's just round the corner, I signed the paper work as it was done under warenty and went to the car to find that it had a new bonet grill and bumper, aparently they had finished it parked it outdside and a delivery driver reversed into it, funny thing was they were'nt going to tell me, not only did they think I was blind but they must have known I would suspect the front numberplate was'nt on the back seat when I took it there :P

I was highest bidder reserve not met last time around but the guy wants to much money and it is'nt the full kit just bits of it. The one on ebay was fitted sprayed and looked in VCG, here is a pic the guys selling I think he wants
