Mine has done this a couple of times - after services etc. It's usually the electrical connector on the Water container- See if you can reach it to ensure it's fully home. That usually does it for me.

Aluminium can be welded - it's a skilled job but it can be done- why not see if you have a local specialist welder who could do it? It might be worth a try

Just take the sump plug off and let it drain for half an hour. It really won't make too much difference if you can't remove it all - Just change it more frequently. You'll never see pristine oil in a diesel for the reasons Tim Spam has stated.

I have the dual units and yes it does blow softly on Auto - except when the temperature is high and it wants to cool the interior down then it goes into maximum blow mode until the temp lowers then it goes back to soft - I assume then to just maintain the temp.

The CC Unit flashing on start up is an indicator there is a problem. It could be as simple as low gas - You'll need to get it checked.

I'm still waiting for mine - but as soon as it arrives I'll give you a report.

If you don't have Climate Control then take a look at the heater controls for the rear just above the rear nearside door - My wife often forgets that one and she sets the AC for cool but the rear heater is still putting out heat - That might be something to look at.

I will be changing my oil as soon as my Oil sucker arrives. I bought a container of Quantum PD oil, and put it on the shelf in the garage next to the old can of millers - What a surprise - apart from the actual labels the containers are identical right down to the markings and the slightly raised area where the stickers go - So who makes it? Is it Millers supplying Quantum or Quantum supplying Millers? :wacko:
