Converting Auto To Manual
Bigjeeze replied to wood73's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
Hmmm.. I would ask for Vr6/3.5 Bullets input on this one. You may have all sorts of issues. Drive shafts may be different. Clutch pedal and Master cylinder might also be tricky. I think also that the ECU will need to understand that the Auto box has gone as well. Not sure about exhaust routing etc - that's probably all right. -
Use your "INTELligence" and work it out. :D What do you want it to do? :16: Play games Surf the web Word procesing Applications Or if as seems most likley just for sodding about on- then buy a package , Dell, HP etc etc etc ;)

Stop laughing and pay up!!! Those answers meant that we pay the bill not the fathers!!!! -
I agree with Greg - I am saddened by Steve Irwins death - but I am totally outraged at the pathetic coverage given to the deaths of our servicemen - whenever it is announced it is used as an excuse to re hash "should we shouldn't we" debate - they never show any real respect. The media in the country stinks.

Congrats to you and Mrs Bagpuss and of course the new arrival

Amazing entertainer - irritating git - but such enthusiasm and verve for life. Apparently he upset a stingray whcih stung him in the heart and couldn't be saved. He will be missed - not least by his family. What a shame - it only leaves Kylie and Rolf now!

They're from a PC on the left you can't see it in this pic- it died the other day - the HD gave up so I removed it. Bit of a tip but this is my office - it's on the top floor and a bit lonley! -
Quick question: I know that you need to get keys programmed before the will work - I think this is because of the PATS system - Does this mean then that I can get a key cut - it will open the doors etc but will not start the car -or not?

It might be the rectifier pack for the blower motor _ i had that on my MK!

Depends on the year etc - I think the CD Multichanger was an option so it may have - or not! My 97 GLX doesn't have one. MY 2001 Ghia does
-
It seems to depend on the year PD engines up to 2003 - 40K after that 60K all the other diesels are 60K. I think you need to check on your service card.

Take a look - don't forget you need a rj45 for connecting to the Uni network (assuming you are in halls) http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/94732/rb/21428026072

Please Suggest A Suitable Car
Bigjeeze replied to sanjsanj's topic in General Discussion and Nonsense
If the congestion charge is an issue then she'd be best off getting on one of those big red diesels run by London transport - Not only does she save the C Charge but she saves the cost of running a car . Anyway as you say if she's a dentist then she can afford a proper car like a Galaxy!! -
Blimey - Motor car DNA! Reverse helixes an all that

Have you tried apply a current directly to the A/C compressor? That way you'll know whether it works or not - As it stands it could be a faulty pressure switch or wiring.

What a silly idea. No I think the forum should stay as is - It works well and the contributions are fantastic. Although I post a lot of crap I do also post on tech issues and I think ask some pertinent questions. There are those on the Forum who are head & shoulders above others in their technical and practical knowledge but then they are appreciated and admired for that without having to have a badge or medal or whatever. No leave it as it is . PS I would vote for SeatKid as he has to be the bestest member on here -_- -

We use a 100% mix in our 2002 (52) Galaxy Ghia TDi No noticeable loss in power, we have noticed smoother & quieter running The best thing for Biodiesel is that it is Carbon Neutral i.e. No Emissions that add to Global Warming Noting needs changing when first using it although I would recommend to start with a 50/50 mix as the Biodiesel cleans the tank out & you will need to change the fuel filter within 1000miles (

To Little Niggles, And Ideas?

Dunno about the interior light but the Airbag light could be the Slip ring (or contact ring) which sits under the steering wheel. You will need to buy a new one at around
