Hmmm.. I would ask for Vr6/3.5 Bullets input on this one. You may have all sorts of issues. Drive shafts may be different. Clutch pedal and Master cylinder might also be tricky. I think also that the ECU will need to understand that the Auto box has gone as well. Not sure about exhaust routing etc - that's probably all right.

Have you tried apply a current directly to the A/C compressor? That way you'll know whether it works or not - As it stands it could be a faulty pressure switch or wiring.
