New Solutions To The World Financial Crisis
Bigjeeze replied to seatkid's topic in Fun Games and Joke
It's amazing how quickly someone can toss these things off - It never ceases to impress me the strokes some people will pull to talk about somebodies comeuppances!! -
I think perhaps that you may need to change the title of this series of posts from the Impending, to the Arrived at last!

Hi Lovinit this is the company that i used - onlineautomotive.co.uk Regards BJ

Well the part arrived yesterday afternoon. I then spent around an hour getting the old one out - The Allen bolt came out fine - the sensor itself would not budge. In the end I drilled it out - broke it itno pieces and extracted it and all the debris. Fitting the new one was a doddle - until I realised that they had sent the wrong sensor - the plug didn't match!! ( Yes and didn't I feel an absolute tosser for not checking before I took the old one out!) So feeling really fed up I decided to replce theplug on the end of the cable. I did this soldered the wires shrink wrapped etc and also put on the protective sleeve that has the locating ring (rubber thingy) fitted it this morning and voila!! it works. So BJ is a happy bunny for now.

How Many Miles Can A Diesel Go?
Bigjeeze replied to steve_r's topic in Questions about the Ford Galaxy
My MK1 has 138K on the clock and my MK2 has 139K - both still in daily use both orignal clutches. I have had a few problems but I fully intend to keep my MK2 going until it literally isn't worth carrying on - I am expecting to at least 250K with it before I change. -

03 Sharan Mk2 Headlight Bulb
Bigjeeze replied to rodders's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
I have also done that - it's a useful exercise as you can ensure your scuttle drains are clear at the same time! That uses torx screws and whilst a bit tricky not too problematic. BJ -
Cheers Gregers but this is for the MK 1 I have found a site that does do the correct ones at

03 Sharan Mk2 Headlight Bulb
Bigjeeze replied to rodders's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
You can either try using long nosed pliers through the little hatch or as I do just take the headlamp out - it has three of those torx style screws - it doesn't affect the sdjustments as long as you put it back the same way. -

Thanks SK Do I just test the plug end on the lead ? There appears to be 4 connections - which pins do I test? BJ

Hi all My ABS light has come on and stayed on. I have checked and the CV rings are complete and not cracked or broken. I removed the two front connectors and cleaned them with switch cleaner, but so far no cure. I can only assume therfore I have a faulty sensor. I have seen in the FAQ's that there is a resistance difference that can highlight the faulty unit- but I am not clear as to how this is done. Can someone explain it simply for me? Cheers BJ

This forum has to be the best - Cos I'm on it! Seriously - I think this site is brilliant - It has saved me thousands and helped me stay alive by reducing the stress and tension associated with owning two Gals . I have learnt so much on here - I've had me moments and made a prat of myself - I've also enjoyed taking the mickey as well as posting loads of crap jokes. I've thrown me rattles out of the pram a couple of times - but I always come back because I like the people and the characters on here - ....even VR6!. Gregers - I think he's a bloody nice bloke even if he is a raving love machine- but apart from that it's educational in all the wider aspects - we even have a Physics teacher on here who asks us strange questions! Who else has all that and Mumof4 whose personal life is miles better than Eastenders,Coronation Street, and the Archers rolled into one. Keep it going Maz it's brilliant.

Hi Gregers Yes I know that Halfrauds had a BOGOF offer - but they have it no longer! Their oil is

Thanks Guys - my apologies for misreading my own post - It's all very confusing all those 5's 0's and 1's!! (Mumof4 will confirm it's my age) I just feel that we are being ripped off by the price of these oils - but as we have no choice it just remains to find the cheapest of the correct standard. A1 stores say there is only

I had one last year. They went in via the wrist - it didn't hurt but it did feel uncomfortable. I did have a mild stroke during the procedure as I felt unwell and they gave me some clotbusters and it cleared within a couple of minutes - The only ill effects I had afterwards was I needed to rest for a few hours. The test proved I had nothing wrong!!

I walked into a public toilet where I found two cubicles, of which one was already occupied.[/size] So I entered the other one, closed the door, dropped my trousers and sat down. A voice camefrom the cubicle next to me: 'Hello mate, how are you going?' I thought it a bit strange but not wanting to be rude I replied 'Yeah, not too bad thanks.' After a shortpause, I heard the voice again 'So, what are you up to mate?' Again Ianswered, somewhat reluctantly it must be said. Unsure what to say, I replied 'Umm, just having a quick poo... How about yourself?' I then heard the voice for the third time..... 'Sorry mate, I'll have to call you back . I've got some 'D**k h**d'in the loo next to me answering everything I say.'
