Did an oil change on an auto merc box as part of a regular service, gear changes were smoother after oil change-IIRC the colour should be a nice red-check yours ,if it's a manky brown colour ,it defo needs changing

Yes, quite an ommision! :( I was also a bit put of by straight-laced regimental bands playing latin jazz and also trying to play Birdland (Jazz-fusion piece, Weather Report, 1970's) Just didn't seem right to me, and as a jazz musician I can tell you that it didn't really come off either. Why is there always an urge to do something "different"?? yes i had a remap.. my main concern is that i never floor the car and have only done 2000 miles since the remap.. this is a second family car used only when i have to. also the smoke seems to be whitish..ish but then again it is dark out so cant really tell. whitish smoke could be a sign of burning oil-the oil seals may have gone in the turbo ;)
