  1. :D tell hubby NOT to look at naughty stuff , it's riddled with viruses ( so a "friend" told me ) PC world had a special offer on Norton anti-virus stuff- well worth getting.

  3. :D sounds like alternator is on way out or connections to battery are dirty +check aux belt is not slipping -how many miles has gal done ,if loads alternator might be best bet

  11. :D Whats the story with diesel dye as advertised on a well known internet auction site -converts red diesel to blue -just how dodgy is this stuff ? what would customs and excise have to say about it ?

  15. :lol: Newcastle council have just introduced a scheme where you have to apply for a permit if you want to tip rubbish using a trailer -regardless of if you're a trader or householder-then they wonder why people fly tip!

  17. :ph34r: the guys at our local tip must make a fortune selling off the good stuff that comes in ,they watch you unloading any decent gear then say "just leave it there mate the skips due to be changed in a minute"-like hell it is! it all gets carefully put aside and then divyied up between themselves! perks of the job or what ?
  18. :( just make sure you take it easy -so easy to pull out stitches + make sure to keep the "area" clean ! and then you have the worry about what's going to happen when you "celebrate" your new found freedom for the first time- just a little bit scary! even worse if the wife is there! :(

  21. :lol: If you have an idea of what you want to do ,then go for it ,but you get the impression that too many people go to uni just because they can ! a good qualification will always be with you , and will open many doors. But it would be a shame to get to the end of uni still having no idea what you want to do -or worse still, finding you have the wrong qualifications for your chosen career. There is nothing wrong with looking at the technical trades (electrician, plumber,etc ) - a good one is always in demand - a friend of mine recently had his house rewired for the supposedly cheap price of
