you dont clean it, its a sealed unit bolted onto the side of the throttle body, why do you want to clean it? here ... bad picture taken with a web cam but look how shiny and new the throttle body is :D
-
err yeah! dont floor the throttle in the lower gears from a standing start! it's called axle tramp, wheel spin, torque steer......... your throwing a lot of energy into the large rotateing things on the end of the drive shafts and as they spin up they dont always get a good grip and bounce around a bit! as they struggle for grip and start dragging the rest of the car along
-
..... late 05..... thats way over two years away now! even if they havent failed they wont be far off from it! and a new set cant do any harm?
-
it's the......... nope lost interest! some one else can explain, I'm off to bed :P
-
because the man in the shop says so! :P
-
Thats about the going price :P dont forget you'll need the plug lead removal tool as well? so add that onto the final amount
-
http://www.citroenpicasso.org.uk/picasso/uploads/post-34-1115013942.jpg red block to the left of the picture, thats it! remove the lower glove box and there it is either an Allen key bolt or a Torx bolt?
-
so whats wrong? you say you've changed the fuses and bulbs and........ are we meant to know what the problem is from you original post? because all you did was to tell us that plugged a trailer into two seperate vehicle and both developed faults and you want to know what the problem is? DUH! the trailer....... and yet you still have a problem? which is?
-
yeah dont plug in the trailer your using! it's got a fault! you plugged it into your Galaxy and your mates Pajero and they both developed faults? and yet your asking us where the fault is on both these cars! DUH! check out the wireing on the trailers plugs?

oh, in the Galaxy? well its the heating/AC system if you have climate control? so yes it will bring up a fault code if its U/S
-
Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning , an all in one system thats heats, cools and pipes dehumidified air around the house via ducts, done right with a decent heat pump, heating source, insulation, management system ............ could save you a few quid on your energy bill! but then again the constant upgrades and maintenance need to keep the system efficient maybe not!
-
and I'm told by a sales manager for vauxhall that they cant give them away! not even the salesmen want them as freebie company cars! although he has a oil burner version as a run around and says its ok! but then again even he says it's a vauxhall ;) it's nothing special just another vauxhall.......

I'm sitting her travian account, by the time she gets back online I'll have wiped out most the villages in her 7x7 for her and started several small wars on her behalf :) she has already have a couple of request to stop attacking people :D her neighbours are hopeing for a speedy comeback and the removal of her rather agressive sitter!
-
you remove the coil pack lean over and reach down into the depths! unplug the loom, stick a screwdriver into the clips holding the switch in place and flick them open, lift the switch clear and replace it the new one :35: no need to work blind, jack up the car or remove the undertray unless you drop something!
-
the switch is on the gearbox, bit of a bugger to get on the VR but it can be got at if you dont mind the discomfort and a few cuts and bruises! there is a post somewhere with a picture of the switch try pushing the lever into reverse and hold it at the stop and see if the lights come on?

Now Shes Away For A Day Or So
mk2vr6 replied to Neils TDi again's topic in General Discussion and Nonsense
just wait till she see's what I've done to her travian account! -
yes IIRC it should beep! sounds like the sounder/relay has gone US!
-
make sure it's really clean!
-
most idle faults are due to a gummed upped ISV! you could start looking there? then if that doent cure the problem delve deeper!
-
No need to remove the leads from the plugs unless your replaceing them? the coil pack is held in place by four bolts, fairly easy to get at! just dont drop them once they are loose! inormally its the isulation around the towers thats cracks up! either replace the coil pack or stick it in the oven and dry it out then reseal it with epoxy resin if you have to remove the leads from the head you'll need the tool to remove the leads from the depth of the head! it's available at all good VW dealers /after market parts shop / snapon dealers.....
-
at the moment no! svr1's just finished so I'm here to annoy you
-
yippie! still think it's crap, looks ugly, over priced, badly layed out cheap plastic interior ;)
