thats because 1. the majority of DAY's are to stupid to manage doing more than three things at a time, steering and being on the phone......changeing gear.... forget about it 2. they only have two hands, one for holding the phone and one for holding their coffee 3. the avarage SHY is to stupid to count to three yet alone five or six so they would be stuck in third gear all the while

yes it has been mention before! flush out the remaining stale fluid by sticking the hose deep into the washer bottle, then once you have flushed out the old stuff, drain the bottle and then refill with a mild solution of milton leave it to do its stuff then flush through the system to clean out the hose and jets IIRC the main culprit mentioned before was that halfords own washer fluid was the worse offender, both the neat and pre mixed fluids!

your standing up again! most writes of the time when compareing performance between the TR7 and the dolly used the sprint version as a comparison vehicle, the top of the range sprint was a 20ltr 16v twin cam where as the TR7 was only a 8v single cam made for the US market so it was strangled and under powered to meet US immision rules and the fuel shortage at the time! and the dolly wasnt an ugly car!

less than 3000 true TR8's were made and the majority of them went overseas so you will see more lhd factory built TR8's

the TR8 has a 3.5 V8 dropped into it in an attempt to save the crap reputation the TR7 had! poor build quality and reliability and being under powered they dropped the Rover V8 into it, mainly for the yank market! after all the Rover V8 is a yank engine! not many TR8's were available in the UK most of them went overseas

k&n's are an oil impregnated filter, they will speed up the destruction of your MAF!

they only come on temporarily as you brake hard then go off, they dont stay on, to make them stay on you have to hit the switch

but the Galaxy never came in 4x4 form with a TDI lump which the Sharan had for a limited release, which I believe Dave is looking for?

I think you'll struggle to find a 4motion TDI Sharran due to the limited release of them, the VR6 version however will be fairly easy to find! good luck in your hunt :rolleyes:
