why even bother trying?

extend and lower the steering wheel, feel around the top of the dash insert (clock binicle) at the top there are two screws, remove them, at the top of bincle prise it away from the dash, leaning it forwards toward you then unclip the lower mounting clip and remove the binicle there are two screws holding the clocks in place, undo and remove,, again pivot the clocks towards you, feel around the back for the multi plug/s undo and lift the clocks clear , the rest is easy enough......

that was the opinion of the moderators at the time this topic was first posted! the language hasnt changed but the opinion of what is now acceptable now has! including the allowance of the word F**K to be be posted!

you wont get any more than 12v's+ the pack drops the supply to the motor hence the lower speeds, when the switch is set to max the resistor back is bypassed, that why the fan is not working on the lower settings! if the pack has blown there is no continuity and power to the fan motor

try replaceing the resistor pack? if the fan only operates on maximum speed and nothing else it's a sure sign the pack has blown!

yep, I'm gonna be downsizeing some time in the new year, the Galaxy will be going :D as soon as I can find either an R32 or a Dodge Nitro at the right price :D that should save me a few quid? :(
