i didnt think the rear seats could be removed easily?like on the previous mk's.hence the new design for them to fold into the floor. the idea on the rears(smax included)is when folded they make the floor flat.

you might try ringing the dealer to see what they advise?or go in and have a chat and try and get a friendy grease monkey to give you advice. right done a bit of investigating for you, DONT USE THE SCREWDRIVER WAY,old credit card etc. Contact Blaupunkt by email: oem.enquiries@uk.bosch.com (write your VIN and registration number) bphuford@hu.bosch.com CMQMM-P2.hotline@de.bosch.com info@blaupunkt.de now all this info is taken for the smax, which as far as i know has the same system fitted to yours. you do any/all at your own risk :46:

Ford Galaxy Shudder
gregers replied to vespaskin's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
It may also be misfiring, often due to a coil pak or ignition lead breaking down (check for signs of sparking or discharge tracking damage) SPOT ON AS USUAL oh wise 1 :46: -
Tdigalaxy90 Hi, what you actually need to do is buy a 5 litre can of top quality motor oil and pour it liberally over the water pump and any drive belts you can see in the region. If you cannot find the water pump, just pour it into the engine compartment ensuring that it covers all visible parts. This will cure your squeak. that i thought was very funny. THE TROLL HAS NOW BEEN BANNED

i would suggest you take it back to them and tell them to sort out any problems that have occured. iirc under the sale of goods act you have 28 days to reject the car. the reason why im saying this is if as you say they have made the interior wet they might have caused no end of trouble to the wiring/electricals that the longer you leave it MAY be very expensive to fault find and rectify. IT MAY as you say just need drying out and everything will be fine, but i always ere on the side of caution when it comes to dealers.so i let them sort out any problems 1st.

didnt buy it from a garage in kent did you? ebay will be your best bet, even send emails to peeps who are breaking galaxy's alhambra's and sharan's to see if they have any?

Another One Fixed Using This Forum
gregers replied to Brash's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
afaik this is the oldest galaxy forum on the net and by the dedication of the members on here have built a faq section that is an extremly useful guide in solving problems that we all at times suffer from,AND in keeping our hard earned in our pockets and not in the stealers. many thanks for the response, the members and forum as a whole appreciate the feedback.:D -
zorg as i have said THIS IS A FAMILY FORUM,please refrain from using this kind of language. the mods/admin team WILL NOT TOLERATE THREATENING BEHAVIOR FROM ANYONE.long standing member or not. i am now going to go through the posts to delete anything i see that does not belong, anymore and i will delete entire threads/posts. if you want to behave like little kids, then do it somewhere else and not on an open forum. THATS AIMED AT ALL OF YOU. lets all get along and get the ethos back on here,WHICH is to help one another and learn from replys and general banter, thank you fellas, regards mods/admin team.
