  4. it sounds like the dreaded roundabout syndrome it affects everyone who lives in an area of the bloody things every 100 yards
  5. ecu appears to be fine central locking works from every door lock including rear hatch windows work fine from the switches in side of car,as far as i know ive only got immobilizer no alarm,so wots goin on any more help gratly received (give me a hammer/nails/glue and a saw and ill make u a matchbox)
  6. just a quick question to all u tech heads out there,when i insert my key into drivers door lock and hold it to the lock postion(with sunroof open)it closes sunroof and locks doors :D do the same with windows open,sunroof shuts /doors lock, windows stay down :( is it meant to do this or is something a bit sh***d :D looked in the manual seems confusing as there seems tobe so many variations of the same car please can anyone enlighten me kindest regards (give me a hammer/nails/glue and a saw and ill make u a matchbox)

  8. my local poundland is selling bulb kits for a pound :lol: thats right a quid five bulbs in the kit h/light b/light i/light r/light interior light and 2 fuses so i bought ten hows that for value.same kit in halfreuds nearly a tenner at that price i dont care wot bulbs are fitted
  9. ive just had to replace my front wipers on my gal,so off i went to the main dealer for a price blimey was i shoocked to discover the price nearly
  10. hi tigger thanx for the reply yes they r reinforced did get a bit of discount on them m8 works there THEY BINNED A COUPLE OF RUNNERS ABOUT 2HRS BEFORE I GOT THERE :rolleyes: the tyres are basic rubber but over the years ive learned that if u spend a fourtune they seem to wear out quicker something to do with the soft compound the name is CHESSINGTON TYRES in eastbourne regards gregers
  11. hi peeps just had a bit of a nightmare an almighty bang came from our gal whole car was shaking nursed it to work called my mate out suggested i took it to the local fast fit estabilshment O CRICKEY it turned out it was the main stabilizer bar had sheered very helpful but unable to fix suggested a proper garage THE ENGINE WAS JUST HAGING ON THE MOUNTS AND THE DOWNPIPE gingerly drove to a garage i know the part was
  12. hi peeps had same queery with my gal whether it had an alarm or not,its got flashy red light on d/door.decide to ask local ford dealer chap there said its situated under passenger seat underfloor cover.checked this and found the imobilizer unit with the words alarm on it.hurray i thought! until this nice chap told me that if it has 3 no large blocks going into it IT HAS AN ALARM.if it only has 2no blocks guess wot mines only got 2 ~~@''''#'''@' damn no alarm hope this helps

  14. martin u should only extend wires once u have consulted a sparky who gave me all the tips to do the job, but ur rite wot r insructions? kind regards gregers :angry:
  15. just veiwed the pic from martinkerr ive fitted the same bought mine at a bootsale extended the wires (best solder them)and stuck the box to the top of the ash tray out of harms way
