just read all 32 pages and searched but some one on here once changed the dash to blue leds im wanting red but no details. isnt there a green filter plastic for lights in on clocks. anyone done this mod if so can the green be took off as red will filter out thru the green. dont want to pull clocks to bits to find out so anyone got a mk1 clock set to have a look at tell me where the green stuff is ie on the clock rear or paint please.

yes it fits but you need the complete dashboard not the just the clocks as they wont fit mk1 and a fair few hours sorting the heating controls out its more bother than its worth and wont add owt to price of car but makes buyers a bit suspect of it. i'd go on ebay and find the claggy trim for the mk1 it comes in satin silver and all sorts looks mint my mate done his cost

the wire is for a anti ice heater. i wouldnt bother changing it as they dont work that well,

wierd mk2 int mk1 exterior, you sure ie is the indicators built intonthe headlamps, is the clock a tick tock in dash or a digital on roof. autos are ok but i steer away from them unless ive got a big engine ie 3l, as far as im aware they seem to be ok tho do a search abot problems, beware of high milage as the bands wear out, also when they go wrong they cost a fortune to fix. must admit i like the alhambra front end. your right mk2 came out in 2000. keep us informed about it as im curios about this

still an easy job just have a good look at it and take your time, not done any mk2 as yet im pure mk2

doddle the aux belt just slacken the power steering pump off and its a doddle. now the serpentine belt is a bit harder the one with auto tensioner, use the search bar just above here
