  1. thought that this was for the airbag   Oops sorry you are quite right - Apologies - I obviously didn't read that properly!!
  2. haven't heard from MM since early August - is he ok? Does anyone know?
  3. Brake light - apart from the obvious low fluid or low pads - could be the brake light switch . ABS light could either be the clock spring mounted under the steering wheel or it could also be associated with the brake light switch. Do a search on brake light switches it causes an incredible amount of problems!
  4. This is pne I took last October from Waterloo bridge in London
  5. It depends where the problem is - If the screws are so loose that air is sucked in at that point it might well make the ECu think that there is insufficient fuel and richen the mixture - Basically if the nuts/clamps are loose then tighten them!!
  6. Don't bloody kids get on your tits!! Shouldn't he be in bed by now!! He'll be all grumpy in the morning!! If you don't have the correct tool you can't tighten the screws properly - it could just be that.

  8. This is my Black one - Much better than Silver!!!
  9. you sure now ;) ;)  Yep!! and I think I was right in the post from Strouf - (well El Dingo backed me up)
  10. Ha! At last One I can get right!! This time it IS the electric run on pump that is fitted to the PD diesels to keep the coolant circulating (to stop hot spots apparently). It runs for s few minutes after the engine has stopped. Mine went after 90k miles. There are variosu posts on the subject.
  11. Not mine I hasten to add - I wouldn't have a dog in my house - but it's cute anyway. It seems the loading has cured itself - I was doing all the rgiht things - I have put a few pics on before and all went well. Thanks anyway BJ
  12. Marx Brothers Laurel & Hardy Vic & Bob Monty Python Spike Milligan & the Goons Ken Dodd Barry Cryer and too many others to mention - all they have to do to qualify is to make me laugh.
  13. Sucker!!!!!!!!
  14. No
  15. Hi it sounds like it may be the run on pump - it's a small electrical pump that sits on the bulkhead behind the head in the engine bay. It ensures the coolant circultates for a while to prevent hotspots. There are quite a lot of posts on it.
  16. Hmmmm... Buzz off!! Seriously - every time I try to adda pic it just doesn't load - it takes an age to get there and then just reverts to the message page. Is it me or this site?
  17. I can't seem to post anu pics any more - Any idea why?
  18. Although I have nothing to benchmark it against both my Gals seem to have working MAF's. Thye are lively give good mileage and still beat the odd boy racer away from the lights (they then piss all over me !) So maybe it's just down to conditions. WHo knows!!
  19. Photos from digital camera thread here are some sample images taken when we got the camera last october Nik - Is that two wasps or the same one? Are they common wasps or German? same wasp but looked like a common wasp but not sure of the difference  German Wasp seen head on has three black spots. The common wasp head on has an anchor pattern on it's head. Both are common in the UK
