Luggage Net Aka Versatility Pack
Marky replied to GT40Graham's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
Got one but never use it !!! Not really a 'luggage net' it kinda drapes across the tailgate aperture behind seats 6/7 (if you've got them in) so you could put a couple of light coats, kids toys etc in it to stop them rolling around the car....if I get chance tomorrow I'll set it up and post a couple of piccies... as vr6 said..the load cover is the best part of the versatility pack.... and the coat hangers.....toy bag is rubbish though !!! -
Kid...do you not practice what you preach (signature).... Ninjakev...get to the dealers QUICK with those wheels...I have just found out that alloys are only covered for the first twelve months, then they will only offer you a discount towards the replacement cost... get to the dealers on Tuesday....

And the price for the adapter module please navman -
Paul...as long as it is just the front calipers these can be 'pushed' back in, remember to clamp the pipe and undo the bleed nipple this stops any contamination returning to the abs controller but also make the piston easier to push back into the caliper. The best thing I have used lately is a woodworking speed clamp and they are about three quid from b&q etc these are great as you can use them one handed instaed of try to hold a caliper, windback tool, spanner etc HTH Mark

Good Luck !!!

Pop to a car paints mixer/stocker (Autopaints up here in Brum) They can then match the paint and do you a couple of aerosols, a bit more expensive than a can from your local Halfrauds etc but at least you'll get a good match......if not try a light Mercedes metallic silver (can't remember the exact colour/code) but I used it to respray a full set of alloys, nice bright silver. HTH Mark PS... When you do them, take all weekend to finish them then explain to the doris that this is what happens when you 'brush' a kerb !!!

Smoggie..I am looking to add an additional screen in the front and thought about putting it in the middle cubbyhole. The cheapest solution (I thought) was to get a portable dvd player (as they are cheaper than a monitor on its own) borrowed a friends to try but found that as the dvd player was rear hinged (as a laptop is) I couldn't get the screen to a decent viewing angle as it hit the cubby lid! I will be looking to modify the cubby assembly (I'm at the dealers tomorrow and will price up a new one in case I wreck it!) but I did notice that when you remove it, it will come out as a complete assembly ie. tray, lid, hinges etc it is not just the tray that comes out. Keep us posted as to how you get on and I'll let you know the price of the new one tomorrow. Mark

Ford do one...well two actually, one piece for behind the second row to the tailgate and one for behind passenger seats to meet the first one and they clip together, I've just bought the 1st one so heres the part numbers: 1137917 - mat - antislip (2nd row to t/gate)

What are you wanting to connect?? I've used a wireless fm modulater on the dvd system and on an mp3 player, not a bad sound output but lacking in the bass department a bit.....but cheaper than the aux adapter in your link (30quid all in shipped from canada, took 5 days).

These F*****g Locking B*****d Wheel Nuts!
Marky replied to a topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
I think Draper make a set of removal sockets which lock over the bolt to enable you to get them off....or hammer a 19mm socket onto the stud...or pop down to yor local friendly tyre centre and they'll get them off, most off them keep a set of the aforementioned tool. When you have got them off go and get four standard wheel bolts and you'll never have trouble again! As these removal tools are cheap and readily available it kinda makes a mockery of having them fitted anyway!!!
