  2. OOPS...guilty of my own favourite gripe...just did a search and found the answer..not really possible without a lot of hassle and no roof mounted middle belt....not so much a bargain afterall...will have to think hard about this one now but you never know I may be back frequenting this place more often again....now then, who did I sell all my old gals wheels/mats/satnav to.......
  3. Hi all.....its been a while... I've been offered a 2004 150tdi ghia for a great price but it has a full leather captains 6 seater interior which is stunning but ideally i would like three seats in the second row and none in the third row, is it possible to do this? The main problem is the 2nd row middle seatbelt, is this fitted to the six seaters? I was thinking along the lines of removing the inboard armrests from the outer seats then removing both armrest from one of the third row seats to sit in the middle? Any advice gratefully received... Cheers, Mark
  4. Nice one! Post a pic when they're fitted...
  5. Always loved the RS6's myself......this was mine lowered 30mm on eibachs as well....

STILL gutted about those rs6's I missed !!!...wanna try my 22 inch BSA Adventurers on the new x before I sell them?
  10. 13. Sorry Rushy...thought this thread was finished!! Got the kit form the dealers believe it or not...cheaper than anyone!!! I've posted the part numbers on another thread started by SteveG but let me know if you want them...
  14. Mine had 235/40/18's. Main reason is you can get these tyres at 95 rated reinforced a MUST for the Shalaxy. You will not get 225/40/18's reinforced...nobody makes them !!!! If you want to fill the arches get yorself to the dealers, order a eibach pro kit (about 140 +vat) 2 hours fitting, 35mm lowered, looks better, handles better, no ride quality loss, well worth it...heres a pic of mine before it went....
  15. Hehehe..nice one gooner....... Thanks for the compliment but Gal gone now!! Replaced by a P38 Range Rover and Freelander Stationwagon... Forgot to say..got an X type loaner at the moment...nice car but you can't help but think you are driving a trumped up mondeo and the resell value drops by about a pound a mile!!! Not that there is anything wrong with the mondeo, I've had time with a ST-TDCi estate and the Titanium TDCi 5 door, both great cars, great engine, good build quality, shame about the dealers!!! Previa - NO.....Trajet - NO......Merc - NO..... MR2 - NO..... The only other 'people carrier' I considered was the Zafira GSi... Good luck in your hunt and keep us posted !!
  16. Hi Gooner, Test drove an ST3 before the Gal went, v nice, v fast, hard ride (even after the 35mm lowered gal on 18's) but nice! Only thing for me was as I walked away from it, I looked back and saw a............ Ford Focus  They are a great car, but you do need to make it stand out a bit more, so either go for asbo orange (
  17. apologies email addy should read...... marknbev@blueyonder.co.uk no edit button......!!!!!!

  19. The gal has been replaced by 1996 Range Rover 2.5 diesel HSE (fully loaded) and will be joined by a Freelander TD4 ES stationwagon on Sunday. Unbelievably I picked up both cars, fully spec'd with heated leather, sat nav, full electric packs etc etc for just over what I got for the Gal !!!! Both are over
  20. Hi all, After three very happy years with the Gal she will be gone this weekend.....I will be sad to see her go but circumstances......enough said....... I will still visit the forum to see whats happening and to try and help but just wanted to say a few thanks to everyone that has helped me/made me laugh/made me angry etc etc but mainly to say thanks, especially to the following... fredt (in one of his MANY guises!) Ivor e, steve67car, seatkid and gteuk without whom we wouldn't have this place. I have a garage full of accessories that will be on ebay soon but I have put a post in the for sale section, click the link below if you want a look, everything from full sat nav kit to mats to 18" wheels/tyres.... Marky's List of Goodies! anyone interested please pm/mail me Thanks again everyone Be good, Marky
  21. Added the factory sat nav to mine and then linked the mutlimedia to it...no probs really..let me know if you need any info/advice...
  22. Hehehe...nice one kid!!
  23. MJR...look for a soundlinx/dension kit. These use the fm input but the way they work is that they cut the input from the cars fm aerial so that you get no interference only a direct input from the ipod when turned on, much better than the transmitter. If you've got factory sat nav and ipod video then an av adapter/ ipod av lead give you video on the move.
