  1. thanks for posting this up 'ANTZ'
  2. welcome to the forum,this any help? http://eucatparts.com/?action=cat_ford_part&s_id_part=1238792&s_id_model=118&s_code_image=G014989813 http://eucatparts.com/?action=cat_ford_part&s_id_part=1242062&s_id_model=118&s_code_image=G014889302
  3. the info's you need is in here somewhere m8,may of even been answered in your other post.
  4. howdy again m8ty, youve got a mk2 not a mk3. there is lots of info within the forum if you search, maybe even in the faqs. could be requiring new oil in the gearbox? to a sensor? someone may be along to point you in the right direction.
  5. welcome, you havnt changed the battery in your fob recently have you? how is the charge in your battery?
  6. have a look inside the fuse box under the bonnet, see if theres is evidence of melting/burning? if so then do a search on what to do.
  7. have you looked on the buttons on the seat, perhaps its a multi switch so rather then push up/down maybe try twisting it?
  8. welcome to the forum, soz cant help with your questions, but if you have deep pockets anything is possible.
  9. im using halfords oil in my smax, buy it when they have a bogof deal.soz cant remember any details about it but its all written on the tin.lol. havnt used my pump yet on the smax, but i do know the filter is tucked up underneath so yes it is a tray off job, so i found a willing garage to change the filter and use my oil for about 30 quid.as there stock oil wasnt up to the job, thought it was a good deal. and saved my hands from getting dirty.
  10. i strap mine to the 2nd row seat with bungees.jack is stowed in 1 of the hidy holes in the back along with adjustable wrench jobby. yes P.I.A not having a dedicated space for a spare, but didnt fancy having a blow out at silly o,clock in the morning and being left stranded.
  11. welcome to the forum, if as you say you have a petrol version then you wont have the auxiliary booster heater fitted, only tdi's have these. sounds like the direction flaps within the dashboard, iirc it has been posted before BUT you will have to search for it.
  12. friendly? steady, welcome to the forum. ;)
  13. also is the run on pump working as it should?
  14. iirc if you have windscreen cover then yes it will be the excess your insurance company charge. to buy yourself,i would imagine will be over what you think,by a few hundred. im sure i read somewhere the mk2 screen was in excess of 400 odd quid?. in the mean time have you thought about trying to seal it up yourself? using some silicone sealant. as a dehumidifier i think your trying to fight a losing battle until the leak is sealed up. once sealed up you will need to lift the carpets and underlay and with copious amounts of newspaper try and soak up as much as possible.
  15. look in the faqs for the info on booster/aux heater, its only a few pages long.
  16. welcome, look in the faqs in the tech section of the forum. sounds like the dreaded wires in the door gators.
  17. relax,i moved it from the mk3 section. :27:
  18. thats what i meant, :P
  19. also check to see if the return pipe is blocked.
  20. sounds like you have a drain somewhere, hows the fuse box under the bonnet doing??
  21. im sure there is something out there, but defo not free.
  22. good luck in your hunt there aint 1 yet. and as it took haynes over 10 years to do 1 for the mk2 galaxy, dont hold your breath to long. this any good? http://eucatparts.com/?action=cat_ford
  23. if the noise is like a bunch of cats in a dustbin, then that sounds to me like the clutch on the compressor. if it is try and tighten it up.
