whats the on board diagnostic saying?

yeah this argument has come up numerous times,i dont think we ever got to the bottom of it.iirc even members phoned up the stealers and got conflicting advice.i do seem to remember there are lots of info on the subject if you want to read up on it on the forum.

well im not surprised as its a post from 2011,the chance of this member still being active is like me......slim.

ronald 1017,i thought you were a spammer from your 1st few posts,now i defo know.this is an english forum so you putting a link up from america does seem rather iffy to me. im keeping my beedy eye on you fella.

trouble is they spammers are now replying to posts,but from years back,but the way there doing it seems like a genuine reply.so hence why i havnt dealt with them. thinking they will see it as if it hasnt been removed will then start flooding the forum.

have noticed there has been a couple of replys to posts from a few years back,im watching them and the members as they seem to me to be rather random. i feel it in my bones that there could be a glut of spam comming our way. if you notice anything give me a shout out and ill do my best to get shot of them. ta muchly.

have you tried tying a small magnet to some string and trying to hook it?

havnt used it for yonks,but i would think they are still around as the site was huge. xda.developers.com what thry dont know aint worth knowing.

if it does start the car,then i must assume the chip has been glued to the ignition somewhere underneath??

i come in here every day for a looksie,and the other site but this 1 seems to have stagnated,very few visits by anyone. mk1 mk2s are getting a bit long in the tooth.so only the die hards will keep them running. the mk3 info is still scarce. i have no access to make anyone a mod as that can only be done by glen,site owner.

er me,..................er thats it.when i see them i try to move the offending posts.but thats all i can do.

as above but also check the door switches in case of a bad earth somewhere.

Thats definitely the case on the mk1 you swap the battery live and ignition live wires over. MK2 probably the same ah good,memory still good then lol.
