  1. take it to a fast fit place and see if they say you need 1 done.
  2. welcome to the forum, use the search bar for your questions as there all within the forum. and check out the faqs in the tech section.
  3. cockney rhyming slang, basically saying hello welcome to the forum,(ole current bun)hows the sun in spain,as we havnt seen ours for weeks as its been raining.
  4. alright me ole china, welcome to the forum. hows the ole current bun in your neck of the woods, havnt seen ours for a few months.lol dont worry about your english,i have trouble and i was born here.
  5. well ive got the smax, which is smaller then the galaxy.but ive never got anywhere near the fuel economy of my old mk2. no the uk spec versions dont come with a aux heater. as the mk3 is relatively new,any problems are slowly coming up on forums like this 1.and on certain forums that info is locked, paying customers only. as my seats are half leather there a lot more comfy then the missus old 60 reg zetec smax she had,yes felt rather hard.
  6. if yours has a dpf then unless it gets upto temp for a regen then all the gentle and short runs will in the end knacker it,dunno about the galaxy but ive read that a lot of cars have to lights on them to either say it doing a regen or it needs to do 1,OR its gone past the point of no return and then requires an expensive fix at the dealers. as the saying drive it like you stole it sounds funny,it costs you nothing so i would defo give it a go,when doing it look in the rear mirror to see how much crud gets burned off,you will be surprised. good luck hope it works.
  7. if yours is a tdi? then about 90% is vw,thats why in most threads on this forum, it advises you to get prices from ford.vw and seat as these are all basically the same car.
  8. also check the wires in the boot.
  9. welcome to the forum, search the forum and you will find lots of info, heres 1 to start you off, http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.php?/topic/13851-turn-off-passenger-airbag/
  10. nice to know a thread from 12 years ago has helped someone now. :46: welcome to the forum. ;)
  11. welcome along to the forum, just make sure you have everything to hand when you do this,as once your wedged in you cant move.lol still its easier then on the mk1s and 2's.
  12. welcome to the forum, moved to the correct section. take a look on ebay a few come up now n then, the may well be the same as what you had in your smax.
  13. i do resemble that post to be honest, glad it made you smile. git :26:
  14. paul no probs m8ty,if i was that bovered i wouldve edited or deleted it.lol banter, were missing that here.
  15. i know ive put on a bit of weight, but preggers nah defo not. if i am then its a miraculous conception.
  16. or get a pair of adjustable grips on it. i could never get my 1 off either.
  17. then why pay it if you had already told them not to do any work. i certainly wouldve argued about it. i bet it wont pass an mot now.
  18. welcome to the forum, i would suspect you have wiring problems still, check recheck and check again. check the gaitor in the rear hatch.
  19. is the rear wash working, coz i suspect it aint, what you are describing is the classic flooded alarm/locking module under the passenger seat, above this running in the cill gaurd is the rear wash pipe, and its come apart filling your ecu up with water. do a search on here loads of info on what to do.
  20. welcome to the forum, is the battery good? is the alternator good? is the starter motor good?
  21. well your goner be surprised, coz if i see anymore spam like this ill ban you.happy christmas.
  22. welcome to the forum, under tray for a start,i do believe its at the back underneath? if and when you do it,any chance of trying to do a bit of a write up for us for future reference. as you have found info on the newer models is still slim pickings. regards gregers
  23. wonder if the gutters are full of crud? reason why i asked about recalls is in that link they did have a problem with the glass roof coming away from the body of the car. so maybe go down to your local dealer and ask for some info, maybe just maybe you get someone who is happy to help?.
