iirc when mine went it was just a case(yeah right)of changing the switch and everything was working again,i could be wrong but you could try disconnecting the battery,MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RADIO CODE.and see if this works?if not then maybe the switch is fubared and a new 1 is needed.vw was the cheapest i found about 8=9 quid.

2 years eh?wonder if the dealer will give you a bit more on the px as well :blink: every car is a gamble.but i can guarantee you will prefer the alhambra then the zaffy.i know from personal opinion :D

welcome to the forum negotiate a years warranty,and iirc under the sale of goods act the dealer has to rectify any problems you find under the 28 day rule.do check on this as it might of changed?

might be the clock spring wearing out??? perhaps if you do a scan it will throw up what the problem could be.

dealers will no doubt be expensive try ebay,look under alhambra/sharan as well as galaxy.

heres 1 suggestion,STOP SHOUTING ;) . your cars probably telling you YOUR speeding. hows your normal acceleration,is it hesitant? might be the maf?

by all means lower it if you wish to? and yes lowering it will affect the height of the tow ball dependant on low you go? as for tyre wear? well I went stupidly low! and never really suffered from it much, did it effect the ride quality? well yes it did, it was a hell of a lot better of a drive on fast smooth roads but on single track country roads you had to take it easy and mind the big pot holes! but as I said I went stupidly low :D slammed into the weeds on coil overs front and rear :D hence the LOW&LOUD VR6 tag I used to go under :D used to go under, ;) i dont remember that 1,lost count of the aliases you had.

do a search on here for a bit more info,but iirc its not recommended for the pd engine.

do you have the under tray fitted? if not then the water couldve sprayed up into the engine/electrical parts,do a search on here for other symptoms. if missing its recommended that you obtain one sooner rather then later.

look on ebay,lots of gals being broken,email the sellers with your info to see if they can match yours. welcome to the forum.ive deleted your other post. :)

welcome to the forum, what you have found is the aux booster heater which(when working)kicks in,in temps up to 10-12 degrees. there is a lot of info on here about it.
