did you buy this from fords????or another dealer??? if so LOSE YOUR RAG with them,and say this is not good enough,DEMAND a curtosey car and you want it pronto. if not from a dealer you have my sympathy's. not bad eh.2 days with a newish car. :)

sounds like broken wires in the rubber boots between the car and the doors,the rear hatch when opened is at the top right hand side.known problem been covered numerous times do a search for broken wires.your be amazed :P oh and welcome to the forum

unless you can unclip the wires from inside the mirror then you will have to remove the card. did he stop and exchange details. from what ive been told by an insurance assessor that normally they put it down to a 50-50.???? this happened to me a few weeks back,but with a toyota yaris.he too wanted all the room,i blew my top and told him exactly what i thought of him,lucky for me my glass had just popped out,his totally exploded :rolleyes: tough shouldnt of been a twat.

have you pressed the rocker buttons on the right hand stalk,it should toggle between various settings,but iirc the miles left will not unless it has been activated with the relevant software??

if the door e/window switches seem to be working i would take a look at the wires in the door boots to see if they have frayed etc and shorting out?

Correct, remove that first! You then need to remove the wiper arms and the plastic panels all then pop off, you are reasonbly unlikely to do it without breaking them though so unless you really need to I wouldn't bother. You should be able to get to the drains with just the scuttle removed though, the rest of the trim won't give that much more access as there is metal work under them anyway. as said, :)

kev,somewhere iir on this thread is mentioned that a pipe is situated near the front passenger pillar,im sure thats where mine was coming in from,soz cannot remember what needed doing?
