if you read up on the info in here,it will tell you that if you only have 1 working key then you will not be able to program the pats chip within the new key,its a visit from a decent auto locksmith/dealer to reprogram the new key to your system,congrats on programing your new key to your central locking,as there are a lot of peeps who have trouble doing it.

go to agree,there is enough information on this forum about using the correct oil in a tdi(pd)engine, also been posted by peeps yonks back that when they took there cars to a ford dealer and they used the normal diesel oil from there huge tank that they fill everything up with,so i wouldnt trust them as far as...............

stevie,ive got some of these on my car,do come in handy at times, iirc i think there were a couple of members selling some only recently. i bought mine from ebay for about 20 quid for the 2. dont forget to look under vw sharan/alhmbra as well as ford galaxy and mondeo and probably a load more aswell???,as i do not know whether they are specific to just mpv group/ford cars in general.

my local timpsons cannot program our keys,they can cut them but thats it so far,next time im in town ill ask them. i have recently approached a locksmith company who have told me there looking into obtaining the correct equipment to program/clone keys.

have you tried ebay? dont know how close to hastings you are but there are a few shalaxys in riplys at the moment,have no idea condition or what parts are still in situ,might be worth giving them a ring.

If this fails how long should the removal of the turbo, its clean down and refit take - time wise including going indoors for plasters because no doubt if it's ford its a b*tch. Oh and is the VNT part of the turbo? hmm wa exactly is a VNT? its a vw,so it might be both hands that need the plasters :o

iirc its stamped somewhere on the front of the engine compartment.

I have my eye on a decent Zafira so I may buy theat instead lol grrr to cars! mmmm been there done that,never again.car was good,just to small for my needs.

i think you really need to take some advice about staining the leather,whether its from a dealer or maybe a tack expert???? because if you make a mess of it then no 1 will want the interior or the car. ;)well not without you taking a big hit in the purse.
