apparently there could be a tsb on parking sensor fault??? go here and type in your reg, http://www.etis.ford.com/home.do and see what comes up. there could be moisture getting in or the paint on them bubbling which may cause your problems,common problem. as above info is for the smax im assuming this could also be on the mk3 galaxy.

a decent mobile auto locksmith might be able to do this for you or its a visit to the stealers.

this has been done before somewhere in the depths of the forum someone took theres off and irrc used some kind of a plastic coat.done a good job if i remember.but i think there only about a tenner each from the dealers so you do the sums.

hi and welcome to the forum.as saif has already mentioned take a look in our faqs found in the tech section of the forum. you might have problems viewing or downloading any info if 1 you havnt made enough posts.iirc it's 5. 2 if your running internet explorer.their seems to be a problem with that format. download one of the others ie firefox etc.

Hello Gregers. Good to see you're still a full timer here. I'm hoping to get back to Eastbourne soon for a gathering of the cousins and was last there about a year ago. Didn't recognise the old place and I'd have been in deep trouble if it hadn't been for my old Tom Tom. yes m8 still here,aint going anytime soon. yes again m8,eastbourne is a changing,probably like many other places.they keep building etc.still dont make the place any cheaper. which area do you visit then m8?

are kwik fit still doing there deals,might be worth a punt m8,to just take it to them and see what gets thrown up. who knows if as you say there is over pressure then they will be able to reduce it properly(fingers crossed)

are your rear brakes working??? if not then you may need a new brake switch,and depending on type/ammount try vw for a price as they are cheaper then fords.

how much fuel you got in at the mo,think this has been asked in the past and iirc it was the fuel slooshing around????

ive got a fixed 1 in my garage if you want to make me an offer and arrange your own courier. i ended up having a detatchable towbar fitted to mine and that cost me £350 cash,ive also had 1 fitted to the wifes smax and that 1 STUNG ME FOR £450 this 1 will be removed and fitted on mine when the time comes. i do beleive the brain learns when the towball is fitted? im sure this info is on here somewhere?

a decent auto locksmith should be able to supply/cut and code/clone a key for you.i think this is the only way to go as a visit to the dealers IS GOING TO COST A FORTUNE,i was quoted to have 1 other key done at fords in excess of 180 quid,and thats with 1 key. timpsons can cut a new key for you,wont help as youve lost yours,and i do believe some of them can offer a cloning service again no good for you as you have no key to do it.so in essence your stuffed. have you checked your insurance documents to see if your covered?you might be able to claim but weigh up the the excess you may have to pay.
