no nothing yet, but i have had major probs with my laptop,think i had a bugger of a virus and nothing i done worked to ressolve it. so in the end i had to do a clean install of my hard drive and reload all my info back on. cor the hrs ive spent trying to sort this all out. bloody computers.

well if you can here clicling then there must be some sort of power getting there. so try another switch. take door card off and try another motor. or it may well be the cable has over ran within the regulator it self so its stuck fast and wont run anyway. do a search on this problem,very common.

never had any probs when i ran nod,shame twas very stable. alas mine ran out and no matter what i done,in the end it wasnt running properly, now im running avira.so far so good.

well if there a similar size to my smax then ive had in the past couple of months fitted 2 accelera tyres to the front. a few smax owners have done the same as these are approx 1/2 the price of the recomended ones. i paid 180 quid for the 2.the contis that were on before work out at about 180 quid each.and these are xl rated as needed.

either do as above or bin norton ;) and get summit better,that doesnt hog your system, :excl: :26:

best thing anyone can do is join a forum like this 1 ,as you have found it SAVES you a lot of dosh. like any forum its the members that make it.so if you can remember if you carry out any repairs plz take some pics if you can and perhaps do a little write up on the subject,especially if its not listed in the faqs.

welcome to the forum andy, you do have a limited ammount of space under the front seats. im assuming yours is a mk1 galaxy? the mk2 had a small flap on top of the dash to hold a few things.but not much.

opppssss missed that seatkid,my knowledge was on the auy engine.

dunno if you have it,i have no experiance over this at all. but what about european breakdown cover,would they not bring you back home piggy back styley? then look round for a garage near where you live to do the work??? just an idea m8.

it can be done from the top.

with engine off open bonnet and grab hold of engine if it rocks easily then it could be the restrictor. as said do a search on the subject so you know what your looking out for. as your away from home m8,whatever your grabed by your short and curlies so if you think its a good deal then thats the main thing.

read up on the problem,look in the faqs. yes you can do this repair yourself if you have the correct tools for the job,I MANAGED IT lol.
