  4. yep as sparky has said press a few buttons and it should turn on.
  5. well i pxed mine to a private dealer in brighton so,does yours start lf03*** ? take a look in the faqs and have a read up on run on pump,on mine you could hear it and then you couldnt i followed the instruction in the faqs and carried out repairs once done i could hear it again.your find all info in the faqs found in the tech section of the forum.
  6. welcome to the forum alkers, whereabouts are you in the south? i sold my galaxy about 17 mths back wonder if it was my old 1? the jet engine noise you hear is the rear booster heater working AS IT SHOULD,there is an abunance of info on the forum about this far too much for me to give info on. as yours is a mk2 then iirc the heater will start when the temp is 10-12 degrees or below, and helps the engine warm up quickly. as said sounds like ALL IS WELL.
  7. mmmm how do i answer this, well apart from you joining a few forums and asking the same question.and on 1 i know of you have had a reply which iirc a link was given for a unit on ebay by someone, and as big dave has already said,IF NO 1 KNOWS HOW CAN THEY ANSWER????? we are a clever bunch on here but even with us we dont know everything,so sorry for that,OUR APOLOGIZES TO YOU .
  8. hi and welcome to the forum.
  9. thanx for posting up a pic,no doubt its in a similar place on the smax so will be very helpful when i come to do mine.
  10. iirc think i put a post up about this on a m8s mk2 05 plate zetec. was going through rear tyres and spent a few quid trying to get to the bottom of the problem. as said above either fords are keeping quite or they generally aint got a scooby.
  11. have you read the endless posts on this subject found within the forum? like does your run on pump work,as this may stop the heater from working correctly, there is a thread running at the moment where a result was finally found. how did you find that it wasnt working,or did it just not start? if its the glow plug iirc they usually smoke like a navii before stopping.
  12. :16: today a booster heater,tomorrow the WORLD :16: :22:
  13. think you need to sack the admin, oh wait a minute you are admin, :22: :16: :16:

  17. thats good news. and good luck with the little un.
  18. welcome to the forum, if i remember there is a bit of a knack in getting it back together again.re read the info in the faqs. i reckon you will have to inspect all the doors for broken wires,if as you say youve mended the drivers side then look elsewhere.
  19. on my mk2 gal even when it was bloody cold minus temperatures it only stayed on for a few seconds. JUST make sure your booster heaters working,or your going to be very cold,
