  1. go for the v6 then, :lol: :35: but iirc they get about 20 to the gallon if that,but from what i understand THEY have great fun doing it. i had a 2 ltr petrol alright sort of car then got a tdi much better,but i do believe the 2.3 is lively and gets somewhere between 20-30mpg?

  3. i now have an smax,and as chris says a lot of these type of new cars only have the inflation kit as they have no room provided for a spare,but i bought 1 and store it in my boot. again like chris im also not getting anywhere near the mpg i did in my old mk2 but the standard of kit on my titanium is very nice,even compared to the ghia i had. you will get differing opinions from all and sundry over these cars.do your research test drive a few then make your mind up.

  8. iirc using the on board diagnostic check there may well be listed the version you are running,then phone fords to see if it is current and up to date. that way this should save you a few quid.

  11. yeah as my post above, iirc as on these cars the sensors do not learn that a bar is fitted it has to be told,well thats what i have been lead to believe.
  12. welcome to the forum, whats the temperature where you are? as it should if working correctly only come on when its 10 degrees or lower.saying that on my old mk2 it would come on up to about 12 degrees.

  15. siemans 433.92 mhz/5wk4 790/97/98 this was the code of my old mk2 with auy.ford galaxy. dont know if that engine code is generic for the fob on all of these cars. but it may be different as yours is a sharan??
  16. whereabouts are you?as i have a spare remote fob.
  17. whatever you MAKE sure you get the correct fob,the details are stamped on the side.
  18. iirc early part of 03 was 40k later part became 60k.
  19. mmmm i suspect you have had a lock replaced. try seeing if they both work in the rear hatch lock?

  23. kwik fit used to charge about 25 quid to do a refill and say if it isnt colder you dont pay,just wondered if you pay a visit to them they may be able to tell you where its leaking from??
  24. it is actually safer to transport a dog in a cage/crate because god forbid in an accident the dog becomes a missile. op,also have a look on freecycle or the other type of sites.
