so IS IT the bulb failer light stuck on and the glow plug light thats flashing???? then your right it could just be the brake switch needs replacing,check your rear brake lights are working. if it is the switch get it from vw dealer less then half the price of fords, afaik any of the free software will only allow you to do certain things you have to pay to get the full version that allows you to do alot more.

The reason why there were multiple posts (2!) is - I think - beacuse your "Reply" option is somewhat clumsy and I managed to simply re-post rather than reply to Mirez - and yes: thank you for the blindingly obvious suggestion of seraching the site. i have deleted the other post as there is no need to post multiple posts on the same subject and as this 1 has had responses. have yu done a search on here about your problem? are you sure you have the correct code? if after you still have no luck them i suggest you allow the unit to accept the code but pay a visit to your local dealer with proof of ownership and ask if they could have a go.they done mine when i had some problems and they didnt charge me,so who knows they may feel charitable with you as well.hth. either that or pay your local ice company to recode it.

have you checked to see if its the engine restrictor bar?.

yep done the repair as the faq suggests a few months back,not that hard and saves you quite a few quid.

try as big kev has said, whats up with the sunroof?there is a very detailed fix for the sunroof in the faqs in the tech section .

do a search on here there are numerous posts on gearbox/selector problems etc,1 of them may be what your car is suffering from.

your car must be worth a fortune,AS YOUVE GOT NEARLY 3/4 OF A TANK OF FUEL IN IT :rolleyes: may it continue to give you good service,like i HOPE mine will.

you donut :rolleyes: :lol: i done this in my old laguna checked the oil and added some,the missus uses the car and goes into a multi story carpark with smoke billowing out of the car,fearing the worst phones the breakdown co,they turn up and tell her its missing its oil cap and the contents of the engine oil are everywhere,CAN YOU IMAGINE THE BOL...... TELLING OFF I GOT :46: so easily done m8,glad its all ok now.

I know exactly what you mean, i recently towed my 24ft caravan around the uk with mine, mine is LPG'd and to say it was flat is an understatement, ohmy.gif i dream of a turbo and on the hills thank god for first gear and a handbrake . easy BUY A DIESEL :rolleyes:

dont forget your trying to propel nearly 2 tonns of metal,IT AINT A SPORTS CAR. :lol: :lol: :D :D

:lol: :lol: dont forget you can/should use the aircon in the winter months aswell,it clears the front screen a lot quicker plus keeps the aircon system in working order.i:e seals can dry out through lack of use.
