lifted this from another forum i use, I received this yesterday from a friend and then by spooky coincidence he actually had a call early yesterday evening. He reported it to his card provider and they confirmed that they have been seeing a fair few instances of this. Be aware and pass on to your friends and family....... BE ALERT latest credit card scam. Please pass this on to everyone you know... This one is pretty slick since they provide Y O U with all the information, except the one piece they want. Note, the callers do not ask for your card number; they already have it. This information is worth reading. By understanding how the VISA & MasterCard Telephone Credit Card Scam works, you'll be better prepared to protect yourself. One of our employees was called on Wednesday from "VISA", and I called on Friday from "MasterCard". The scam works like this: Person calling says, "This is (name),and I'm calling from the Security and Fraud Department at VISA. My badge number is 12460. Your card has been flagged for an unusual purchase pattern, and I'm calling to verify. Stering Creaking Noise
gregers replied to psycoops's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
mmmm thanx for that tiny, mine is begining to creak a little bit when turning left wondered what it was?but after reading your post looks like it could be my prob(fingers crossed) as mine are nearly 3 years old and done nearly 20 k,so i will defo be getting a decent pair when the time comes, but i allways thought you just had a knocking noise didnt realize they creaked aswell. -
i think from reading about run flats they tend to give a false sense of security over not checking the pressures regulary,ie have a look yeah there ok,when clearly they arnt and wearing down. so maybe a lesson learnt allbeit an expensive 1 is check your rubber often, bearing in mind this is the only thing that keeps you on the road safley, and as said previoulsy even more expensive if caught.

Oh also the rear passenger door goes through a series of unlock lock unlock lock when the central locking locks all the other doors. Could this be a wiring problem which is then affecting the central locking as a whole? or do I jusn need to replace the solenoid here. first check the wiring in the hatch.top right in the rubber boot, detailed instructions somewhere on here, probably in the faqs they always tend to break here and causing all sorts of problems.hth

bit more info needed really. could be a leak from the windscreen to a blocked pollen filter to air con not working properly.
