Got my gal back tonight from having new concentric slave cylinder,clutch and dual mass flywheel and had mega steamy windows (no just me as usual in the car !) can i have a few more details of this rain x stuff so i can get it because i don't think i can hold my breath that long on long journeys to stop them steaming up. :wub:

I have done 163,000 in mine. I have a slight flat spot and starting problem. After a rev when starting beyond help ? It clears don't supose this is down to injectors ? what do you reckon your help is appreciated mate.

1 month old and having problems that's terrible. I wouldn't even wait. It's under warranty take it back to the dealers and get them to sort it !

I went into my local GSF branch today to pick up my new clutch and dual mass flywheel. I thought that the cost of these parts were very expensive and indeed they are if you go to the main dealers. I was suprised to see that they were willing to do a good deal on them because........ i was buying them both ? I looked depressed at spending my money ? I was looking rather ill and faint at the cost ? Don't know why they were really helpful. They had told me yesturday that i would be paying

Right i'm looking round for a new car then.....Or maybe not ? I better out a quid on.... :lol: I would put more on but being a gal owner at the moment i better save it !!!! ;) In fact i will go and put a quid on the lottery today i have got this prediction mumof4........... IM GOING TO LOOSE IT !!!!! ;)

Could you ring up a shop for a clutch or flywheel they would ask reg ? they would be able to tell by reg would they ? Would that work ?

My aircon broke ages ago. In the same place on the pipe. On the bend on the front ? No mumof4 ! I don't know the lottery numbers. (just in case the guess is right) ;)

Thank you all for your help. Unfortunately the build date for mine is before the recall (Thanks mumof4 anyway ;) ) I have found a clutch and dual mass flywheel and I have got an amazing deal ! Far cheaper than everybody has said (no i haven't pinched it ;) ). Got someone to fit it too. I have saved hundreds ! I have also learn't that there is a conversion kit out there to change it into one. ;)

I have looked at mine the other week and mine are like yours. They should be clear but are not. I do know where to get replacements from in you want them.

I thought of that but rac man said no when i spoke to him when he was fixing my saxo tonight when the exhaust fell off while doing 70 in the overtaking lane. Left warrington at 6 got in at 10.20pm ;) Thanks for the reply Gregers i will ask others too but i would rather buy a new one.
