  1. Oh yes i see ! I must have over looked that. OK
  2. To be honest. A gal with that low miles mak i would keep it, keep up the servicing as you are, get thing repaired if faults occur and don't get a mkIII there seems to be a lot of faults judging by whats on here. Oh mumof4 i'll raise that to 50........ ;)
  3. I'll give you 25. I would read on here about the new galaxy's you probably will find out which is best. Whoops i forgot to say hi Mak
  4. It's the newer type as seen on ebay mate.
  5. Undo bracket (2 nuts 13MM), one bolt (10mm) off heater exhaust. Take out the bar (back of sill). Pull down out of tight bracket. BE AWARE Of THE LEAD you need to undo a plug and to release the heater unit from the car this plug needs to be pushed up out of the bracket (this lead is short). Then the unit it will come out. There are two jubilee clips to take off the pipes (Exhaust pipe etc) with a flat screwdriver. Plate on the bottom can then be removed. Then star shaped (t20 size) screwdriver required to undo four rusted bolts on the plastic top plate and four at the back. The back cover will come off. Then what i think was an 8mm socket to undo the nut on the glowplug and 13mm to take it out. I have been to bed since the tho. Take care with the plug inside the heater the tabs on it break easy. whole job 45mins - 60mins dependant on any probs really. i don't think there will be any.
  6. Beyond help nice one
  7. The heater will work straight away i have just fixed mine getting the part from gsf and i haven't done anything with error codes ?
  8. If it's your concentric slave cylinder they are
  9. Idle control sensor maybe. I know they are not on diesels (well i was told) yours is a petrol i think (correct me if i'm wrong) and if they are on them then it's worth a look. Check out other posts on them. :D
  10. I agree too. Whatever i have in the future will never be a petrol. In my case tho i just can't get the fuel economy out of one. God knows how much extra my fuel would cost when i can do 30000 per year. Plus the quality of most diesel engines are good. They seem to last longer (i just know someones got a petrol car out there that will prove me different). I don't want the speed anymore afterall you are only suppose to do 70 mph and on most motorways you are lucky if you get that for any length of time. Oh by the way i'm not turning in to a pipe and slippers man although the older i get the more attractive a volvo looks. :D
  11. Well i don't believe it :D People actually fall for this. If it was true he wouldn't need to sell it over the net.
  12. I have been told that i need a concentric slave cylinder as there seems to be no separate thrust bearing. I have bought it at a cost of
  13. Look here this will do. It fits a plug under the steering wheel. :P
  14. If your car is running erase all the codes take it for a good run and check again. Thats what i did mate. :P Just to make sure what i was reading was right.
  15. Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Implausible Signal : P0101. I had this code when my mass airflow had gone it may also mean pipe disconnected.
  16. I recently bought a airflow meter which was duff. I would have a look at that again first. Disconnect it as run the car with it off see if the problem persists so you can eliminate this again first. Then post the results here so others can see. :P
  17. Whoops sorry made a mistake didn't read you post properly look here for some of your info.
