  1. If the problem is only the keycode as mumof4 says speak to frauds they will sort it. If at the end of the day it cost you for it, then i wouldn't have thought it would be less than the cost of a new radio.
  2. Mazzo i have a code reader here and i should mention that my maf NEVER showed as being faulty on it although it was. It was as if it worked now and again. It left me with no option but to disconnect it. I did so for a couple of days. YES i actually put up with the performance reduction for more than one day. BUT it told me it was faulty, so it was worth while.
  3. I agree with big kev. Try the maf by all means but it sound a tad more serious than that ! I hope it is the maf. I'll keep me fingers crossed for you.
  4. Maybe this is coincidental. I cannot see how a rear shut would affect the aux heater. It's too far up the car. It would have to be one hell of a shunt. An aux heater will go when you least expect it. To fix it will cost an hour of your time and about
  5. I found this on here for ideas about overboost try here Sorry but i dont know much about the aircon. I'm sure somebody else will. Stevie.m
  6. I disconnect my maf and ran the car. Performance was down of course but the hesitancy went. It was holding back then going before. Guess what i had just fitted a new FAULTY maf. Fitted new one and hey presto working fine. . Got a refund off the old one.
  7. The reason companies offer a discount for buying online is that they have not got to pay any commission to insurance brokers or agents. This can be as high as 15% for the larger brokers. The insurance company also needs less staff to deal with insurance this way, thereby saving further money. Also, if you get a high renewal premium it may be an idea to ring the company, they may give you a discount to retain your business. Most larger companies have retention departments. I did this and saved approximately
  8. They fit tamperproof screws to the maf. You can find the right tool to get them out.
  9. I'm after a bmw 330d or 320d but prefere the 330d mate.

  11. Noise from clutch / gearbox. Starting problems. Someone is fitting new clutch i hope plus concentric slave cylinder. I,m getting rid of it soon, not due to problems but the mileage. I work for myself do mega miles and i want to treat myself to something else.
  12. No i can't at the minute i haven't got the car. It's had to go to a garage to have work done yet again. I didn,t see any power leads to it before it went. Where do they sit ?

  17. sorry mate i haven't. Welcome to the forum. So you say you are going to take the heater off for repair/ replace glow plug ?
  18. To be honest, for the sake of a few quid and a bit of time it's worth while just changing it againto see. I just did mine and it was. Yes i do agree that the faults are a pain and mine has got quite a few at the mo and costing me loads of dosh to fix, the car overall is good. My car though is being sold before the end of march only due to the high miles. I am not getting another galaxy as there is no need for the big car anymore. I want to treat myself to a BMW 20d or 30d.
  19. Oh no don't sell if kids are in with the deal. :D
  20. Was the glowplug the new type ? I ask this cos im not sure when they came out. The new type have 340 on the end of the number round the middle of it
