ummm the temperatures posted here are exactly the opposite from MM's temperature chart, surely it would make sense that given a certain refrigeration coefficient the higher the outside temp the higher the inside temp. These appear to be the wrong way around :angry: my point exactly :ph34r:

yes Drain plug yes, pic before this was top up point - filler - need to renew the red seal though Think my diagram was LHD though :D ho ho - peak holiday season then, for some anyway, I've now got to design and room a timetable for 2000 students and 120 staff :blink: :D :D

had exactly the same problem - brake switch was ours - AA man wd40'ed it (car had been standing for a month before purchase) we had no Idea then - back in 2002, no trouble ever since - will replace brake switch at the first sign of trouble.

difference is that I've just see 24 sets of parents (unless your in the same job as me of course)

Have a look in the faq there is a temperature chart (taking into account outside temp in the shade) there which gives the acceptable ranges IIRC it must be running for 10 mins with the engine doing 1500rpm before the temp is measured

after having the instrument cluster changed for another problem the CC symbol now magically appears

tis disc gives the procedure for renewing the ATF see the faq about 3rd item down (not tis does not exclude any models)

Check the door wires - with that age of car they could be dodgy :angry:

Key fob will flash if you hold the lock and press unlock three times whether its in range of the car or not (don't do it - I tested it the last time someone asked and had to reprogram my remote :angry: :D :D ) the key recieves nothing from the car - the car detects the code from the key ( pressing the lock and unlock 3 times changes the code transitted by the key) The car blink the door led 5 times to show you that it has recieved and memorised the code - if it doesnt get the key checked at ford - they have a m/c which checks the key output.
