  1. that brings back some memories :D :D - last time I went I was 12 yo - arrrrrgh 35 years ago :D but I don't live that way any more
  2. only post I can recall was a connection problem at the screen - does either half work or are they both dead?
  3. I could see that some electronic gear would be picky about the sine wave ........ :D a fridge though !
  4. no evidence of tape or anything just metal ;)
  5. we don't have the first hole at all but we do have a foam rubber block wich fill the gap between the rubber seal and the side of the compartment which seems to be missing/half there in your picture would help to know model/year of car put the details in your signature (click on the link in mine for details)
  6. sticky egr valve could cause the intermittent nature of the problem. While not the source of your problem there is a school of thought on the forum that the MAF should be treated as a service part to be changed at 50-60k - thick film sensor tends to degrade over time and so disconnecting makes a big difference but replacing it will also make a big difference ;)
  7. cheers - thanx for explanation ;)
  8. nope cleared cookies, definitely playing up for me atm - must investigate further
  9. requested that this be put in the faq
  10. seem to get odd results at the moment when clicking 'view new posts' atm - sometimes get lists of posts wher I am the last contributor marked as new (should never happen) missing threads where there are loads of new posts - anybody else ???
  11. As well you know, that isn't what I'm saying at all and any sort of adult intelligence would have told you that without having to resort to sarcasm (the lowest form of wit) to reply to me. People here have a lot of knowledge of all things Galaxy/Sharan/Alhambra, but there are a lot of differences between the models, years and engines, as you know. Ah **** it ... can't be arsed anymore. This forum, in the short time I've been here has changed from being a friendly place with the odd bit of friendly banter and instead is filled with sarcastic ***** and people hijacking sensible threads with nonsensical **** (mods included) See ya later .. account closed sorry to see y go m8
  12. agreed - price is pretty high on the priorty - got and acer response time 20ms cheap 17" works fne with the games we play and video editting

  17. very tempting - always thought that the gap above rear wheel to arch looks too big - anybody got some before and after pictures please
  18. you don't need to salt the roads where you live BJ - beautiful microclimate along the avon and bourne valleys  -_-
  19. I see loads of you have added details to your signatures (very creative some are as well) - just a reminder for those new to the forum BUMP  -_-
  20. do you have the lights on the inside bottom of the doors if so then maybe broken insulation on wires in rubber boots (doors to pillars) try opening all the doors, put a fuse in (if you can) and wiggle the rubber boots one at a time and see if the fuse blows
  21. is there any difference in what the door led does in the two situations ??
  22. yes good idea - although the maximum wattage should be quoted - calculating fuse values would be interesting otherwise
  23. are inverters suitable for non resistive loads such as motors and if so do they need derating - your inverter may not be powerful enough. Does the documentation on the inverter say anything about non-resistive loads ??
  24. I thought it mean't - thus it has been demonstrated but I was too young to have studied latin at school BJ
  25. under the front passenger seat IIRC
