Why do we go through these cycles - a while ago we had lots of posts on Mafs which have now dried up, then loads of posts on windows /Cl wiring problems, then key/lock programming problems, then wiper problems, recently petrol starting problems- relay 27/30/167 it seems they come in waves as if Guests see the subject come up and decide to register and ask their variation until that subjects done to death. This pattern does seem new though, I've not noticed it before this year. Anybody else seen this before (excluding old chestnuts such as aux heater, Aircon, spare wheel winch)

Is there any difference between 'Sports mode' and normal ??? (if you have sports mode) - wondering if its the same autobox as the galaxy - I assume it is

It would probably help if you can find a dealer willing to support you as well - had an issue with an instrument cluster which got changed 14 months out of warranty but the dealer supported me and ford stumped up - but the dealer had nothing to lose and helped ( saved me

umm checking the receipt from when we had our discs done it appears we have the larger discs + holey headrests and 3point lap belt - Y reg 2001. The combinations appear to be a bit pot luck :D ;)

Could you put some duct tape across the gap - if nothing else it would reassure you that it is not causing a problem, from your photo it appears to be upstream of the maf (air filter side) so it shouldn't (as MM said) cause any problems for the ecu metering th fuel. In the long run it does mean unfiltered air hitting the maf - I wonder if that would shorten its life???

yes, I think this is a hold over from the previous versions of IrD remote where the sensor was in a little dome near the mirror - just stayed inthe instructions
