  3. Hi jgflan Sorry I cannot help you with the question to weather your car can do bluetooth, but if not you can use a system called "Parrot" system, which plugs into the back of the radio, and the sound comes through the radio speakers(it also mutes the radio, while on a call) dead easy to fit(if you know what to do) the hardist bit is getting the radio out, but if you can get a local radio shop to pull it out, it just connect the plugs, or the radio shop can fit them. The one I have is the CK3100 and I can recomend them (we have two, one in each car) but there is a couple of models but the 3100's are about
  4. Hi Woodman Sorry I don't have a Galaxy, so cannot help with your fault, but if someone else comes up with a soloution Great ! Don't know how you are with electrics ? but if it a matter of disconecting while starting, then reconnect when running you could wire a relay in to disconect the sensor while you start it, then once the car is running the wire would be reconnected. all you need is a 5 pin relay, take one connection from the low tention of the starter motor, the other side of the coil to earth, and the two remaining conectors on the relay, one to the wire you have taken off the sensor, the other to the sensor. The only other thing to mention is you will need to make sure the wires for the sensor is on the two N/C connetors, so when you turn the key the relay opens the contacts. Hope that makes sence, if not drop me a PM Radiotwo
  5. Hi again, Thats a hard question ! I think the best thing to advise, is get the very best one you can aford, and also some people sware by one or another make. Not too sure if it is a special type for your car, and how you feel about that, but as far as automotive batterys go I think a good old lead acid is not a bad thing. If you wanted me to name a make, I would go for a Varta, as I say not the cheepest but I have had a few over the years. Try this: http://www.varta-automotive.com/index.php?id=18 But the other question is why do you want to change the battery you have got? Radiotwo
  6. Hi Reg You can put the biggest (Amprage)battery you want on, but what will ristrict you is the size and where the +Post and -Posts are. The only thing is don't put a smaller (amprage) battery on. Radiotwo
  7. Hi Steve Sorry I cannot help with the answer about which pads, but looking at that link, those pads seem very dear, I would try a local car accesseory shop ! But to get to the point of which pads to get, You need to take off the wheel and remove the pads and see which is the correct one, but if you look at the first page of the link, it states up to 2001. But I am sure my son-in law got some not that long ago, and I am sure he paid about
  8. Hi Harvey I think you have poss answered your own question ! It sounds more like the CV joints, but you mention the bearings are loose ! so first thing is get the bearing checked out, then to try the Cv joints, try full left lock, and drive slowly, then full righthand lock, and if you get a simular feeling/noise then its a cv joint, then check if there is a split in the boot, and no grease. 15. Nooooooo!........ They should be toe'd in slightly......unless you really like wandering all over the road. Although admittedly they will last longer if parallel......the rest of the vehicle and the driver may not ! And what do you know !
  16. Hi Cliff I don't know if this will throw a spanner in the works, but ! Many years ago I bought a new Peugeot 405 estate, and I had the same problem, as the two front tyres were bald by 5000 miles I went to the dealers, they checked it out and told me they were up to Peugeot's specification, so stuck with a car with illegal tyres. As the tyres were Mitchlins I contacted them, and a Very nice man came out to see my tyres, he checked out the toe in/out settings etc and basicly said the settings were wrong (as far as they were concerned) they should be set to Parallel ! so he set it to that ! and fitted two new tyres on the front, and never had a problem again(only flat wear over the with of the tyre some 40K miles later) So as I say you can read this as you like but it worked for me ! Radiotwo
