To be honest I'm not sure, but if they pop soon i'll be letting them know, I was tempted by some phillips blue tipped xenons at motosave but they only give out 30% extra (compared to halogen) and were 26 quid. The secondary air injection shouldn't make your car run 'bad' as it only runs for 90 seconds or so when car is cold and only provides an afterburner effect to get the cat up to temperature. Please let us know what engine/year then and more detailed description of 'running bad' (misfiring/reduced power/stalling/excessive fuel consumption etc) so peeps can help.

You must undo the bleed nipple when you push back the pistons or you risk flipping the ABS seals, also these seals are manufactured to very fine tolerances (less than 10 microns in some cases) and if any dirt goes passed them it will damage them. The brake cuircuit is diagonal on mk1's. EDIT: I recommend using a pressure bleeding kit, it makes the job hell of a lot easier.

Safest and easiest way is to give it to someone else to do. I did my clutch last year and it was an absolute pig, I used a hoist and trolley jack and had great problems lining engine and box up, with the beam this shold be much easier in theory. Setup a swear box and put in a quid every time you curse and when you've finished you'll have enough to take it to a dealer to do next time.

Hi Yunas according to TIS the indicator wires on your car should be on multiplug (A),on pins 4 & 6 and should be coloured black/white and black/green respectively. The 3rd multiplug ( c ) should only be on pre 09/06 cars.
