  1. I'd also change my name to Sham 69. :(
  2. The wierd thing is, the garage called yesterday to say that they found the problem - a corroded and leaking dryer. This would explain the pressure switch fault code - viz - low pressure in the system. Maybe the rear vents normally blow colder? They'll fit the new dryer today, so we'll see what happens...
  3. I was waiting for a lesbian punchline... :D
  4. Well I liked it! A good solid ALL AMERICAN PRODUCT!
  5. Wha! That's nasty. (At least it wasn't raining in Suffolk this afternoon. I can guarantee that something will go wrong with one of our cars when it's raining, and cold, or both.)
  6. I have two fault codes: 00792 - A/C Pressure switch (F129) 35-10 - - - Intermittent 00631 - Communications/Connection AC <-> Motronic 30-10 - Open or Short to B+ - Intermittent (Luckily it's still under warranty.) :P
  7. All this talk about air con and the very hot weather here down south made me think, because the wife's been complaining that the Galaxy air con isn't as good as it was on her old Audi A4. So I went out for a drive in it yesterday. The front air con really is'nt very cold is it... But the rear vents blow nice chilled air! Now, this is a combined system with second evaporator, so I don't think I've got a faulty system. I'm going to plug into VAG-COM this afternoon to see if there are any faults. I suspect, however, that this is 'normal' Galaxy. Think I'll turn off the rear cooling too, and see if it gets any colder in the front... :P
  8. And which one would you be El-Dingo????????? :D Erm, neither. :D
  9. Loads should be securely stored in the luggage compartment or on a roof rack or luggage box. I suggest you try Halfords roof box department. :D
  10. We could do a poll... Are you a trickling limp hose? Or are you a beautiful fan-shaped waterfall? :D :D :D :D :D
  11. Sounds like a boy v. girl problem :(
  12. Oggy's got it... Wet weather = wipers and scuttle drains Warm weather = most aircon problems Very cold and wet = anything that needs fixing while laying underneath the car Rain of pointy tacks = spare wheel holder Floods and mudslides = ABS Above 30 degress = "Does my car have dual climate?" Below 3 - 5 degrees = "Why has my aircon stopped working?" There must be more evidence...
  13. I couldn't stand it any longer!!! :16: It was driving me nuts, looking at your signature!!! :5: :P :16: :16:
  14. Check for sparks! Plug 3 gap could have closed due to electrode dropping down inside the ceramic??? Normally plugs erode and the gap gets bigger, not smaller. Otherwise mechanical damage; most likely it was put in like that... (no offence, if you installed them yourself). :P It does sound like a coil pack. :16:
  15. Of course he has... He went to school in Nigeria, area 419!
  16. Off topic I know, but I just want to say that realality is for people who can't spell, Gregers!
  17. Good luck with it! Talk to you again soon....
  18. Sorry, I'm looking for the post with 'parallax' in it... Has anyone seen it?
  19. Oh Poo! I go away for a few days and Nik beats me to an answer that contains the word 'Parallax'. :P
  20. Gregers is right - Zaffy would be better (and MUCH more reliable) than a Picasso.
  21. Thanks... I'm going to have to look into this 'ebay' thingy... ^_^
  22. I think there's a business opportunity here... You could sell magnetic versions with: - Company Logos. - England flags. - Ford Galaxy Forum ad. - Your own personal message, e.g. "I'm protecting my owners car from carelessly opened door damage". - Jam sandwich design, so people always pull in to let you overtake (especially if your Gal is white).
