  1. Try this link for checking what they look like. Generally speaking, regards to going up in size of wheel then the ratio will need to go down in the same porportion. eg 16" alloys with 215/55x16 tyres 17" alloys will need 215/45x17 tyres etc etc
  2. I like many people have two cars in the family, the trusted Galaxy as a family car and an old L reg petrol Toyota Carina as a 60 mile round trip commuting car. The Galaxy can be driven up to a local bypass which is 4 miles away and still register cold with no heat from the vents, only after driving for aprox. 10 minutes will it reach normal operating temperature and only then can i turn on the front and rear heaters to give some heat. Whereas the Toyota will be nice and warm after only travelling 1 mile. So, as previously mentioned, the Galaxy's with diesel engines do take a while to warm up - as long as the car does not overheat and drives fine there is nothing to worry about in regards to the temperature gauge needle moving very slowly.
  3. Definitely none available after 2000 (MK 1's only)
  4. I bet (only a nominal amount due to lack of sufficient info) that she/he has a water leak.
  5. For vehicle recalls, try this link.
  6. That's where the pollen filter is located, so that may be the cause of the problem. IIRC, there has been some problems like you are experiencing with the location of the pollen filter coupled with the bad weather recently causing the rain water to collect there.
  7. You can pick them up on ebay for around
  8. Yep, that is definitely a write-off, however, if you like the car so much you may be able to buy it back from the insurance company and source parts to repair it pretty cheap as long as the chassis isn't damaged/misaligned.
  9. Yep, right bulbs for your car.
  10. Saif - Worry not - Look Here http://www.freecarshow.com/make_product_pages/QURESHI.htm some people have a lot of time on their hands! Phew, what a relief! Time for a coffee i think.
  11. Listen mate, change your attitude if you want help from people on this site. All gregers did was quoted what you had typed for all to see and offered you some advice which obviously hit a raw nerve with you. I think a little humble pie is in order.
  12. Scotish? What language is that - try Scottish and i think the OP is from one of ths Scandanavian countries. :16:
  13. You know what? I'm actually lost for words, the reason being is that i'm a muslim and hence do not drink and didn't think that my surname will be associated with alcohol but for kev to find that clock is trully amazing (or did you 'alter' the image) :16: Dave, i have a coffee instead thanks.

  15. Dave, your pm has been received and answered.
  16. Dave, pm me with the serial number and i see what i can do for you.
  17. Sorry it's late but have a Happy Birthday Kev ;)
  18. Fuse number 7, white in colour and rated at 25 ampere.
  19. Dave, try this link. Plenty there.
  20. According to the handbook, the lens should prise off using a flat screwdriver from the bottom (there should be guide tabs at the top of the lens).
  21. IIRC, it should be 95 octane.
  22. Steve, Welcome, so what do you prefer? With a name like yours, i would say your Suzuki GSXR (is it a 600,750 or 1000?) 150bhp Galaxy? So what are they like? That will be my choice as the next car (plus a motorbike!!), when the current one is due for a change. Anyway back to your problem - sounds like the engine mount as gregers says.
  23. Sounds about right as long as it is a reconditioned unit rather than one taken straight of another vehicle and put on yours.
  24. Excellent news, please keep us informed of the outcome - and hopefully everthing will be sorted.
  25. So, i assume they will fit a MK2 Galaxy?
