SK, MO4. Thanks for the replies, a bit more serious than I was expecting but hey. I have never come into contact with a gambler where it has had such an effect as you 2 seem to have and so probably do not see the dangers as much. I consider myself to be very controlled, yes I do lose money, not a great amount and have been playing for real money for about 18 months and have never lost more than I expected/budgeted for. The way I see it is I don't drink, smoke or spend great deals of dosh on much else so I therefore see this as my treat and so don't really care about the money side as it is no worse than drinking it or smoking it away. MO4, I have no intention of getting the programs mentioned I just wondered if anyone had any dealings with them. I too played play money for about 2 years but soon got bored of players going all in with nothing because it didn't matter whether they won or not. I had $20 million on pokerroom and at one point was in the top 100 worldwide chips counts. If this is going to turn into a serious debate and maybe too close to home for anyone then please feel frre to delete the thread.

I play a fair bit of online Poker for real dosh. Whilst surfing endlessly I have come across several sites/programs (I think one is called robo deal) that play your hands automatically and claim to know what the other players have and therefore winnings are multiplied. To all you out there that also play online has anyone real experience / tales of this. I am not naive enough to think that these all really work I just wondered if anyone had any tales. I will also wait for the inevitible responses of what a fix online poker is in general... an argument that will go on forever me thinks. I personnally do not think it is fixed....unless I lose of course. p.s i will be on Ladbrokes all night tonight. :D unless I lose all me money, in which case I will be on here tomorrow telling you what a fix online poker is. :lol:

mo4 Ebay is down for maintenance every Friday morning. The times can be varying and reduce your access in different ways. It is usually done by about 9am.

Do I have to accept this or can I demand it goes to a Ford repair shop. Am not too sure I want it to go to Ford (knowing them as I do) I just wondered. I think the following sections would be good maybe all lumped into one bit a section of items for sale by members [car related or not] one for links to parts suppliers when peeps come across them [like MM's cv joint place] a place to put links to Ebay items that seem cheap and may be of interest to others[there's a spare wheel carrier on there for instance, someone is bound to want one]. Not everyone has access or is proficient in Ebay. a wanted list that you can add to so anyone going to a scrappy for instance could maybe look out for other members.

With petrol consumtion/prices doing my head in and the impending swap to a Picasso diesel [that will do 3 times as many to the gallon as mine] coming, father in law suggested getting a diesel engine and swapping it for my gas guzzler. Is this feasible / practical / economical I ask? Cheers.
