  9. it was under roll/stabilizer bar. :) http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.ph...=stabilizer+bar cor even found my mine ;) http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.ph...=stabilizer+bar they do come up on ebay everynow and then.
  10. right from what im reading is......... your so called BROKEN key opens the doors(central locking)and STARTS the car is this correct?engine stays on????? if so then the immobilizer chip is working correctly :) this is the bit(chip)that costs a arm and leg at the dealers. so im thinking all you need to do is reprogram the remote to the car, this you can do yourself, read your manual or look in the faqs for reprogramming remote keys, this may take you numerous times before you get it, but the good news is it sounds as if you will not have to part with vast amounts of dosh. ;)
  11. do a search for roll restrictor, lots of info on the subject.
  12. cheers john,ill have a mooch around.

  14. does the key have the correct pats chip within it? if so a bit of cannibalizing is required to get a working remote key, lots of info on here about keys.

  16. red diesel bloody hell, unless its a farm vehicle, then id certainly be wearing brown trousers if he gets caught???? from what ive seen the custom and excise peeps take a very dim view. but if he gets away with it then fair play. does it have a maf? wonder because of the fuel its sending the wrong info to the ecu or vice versa??? is the turbo working correctly?
  17. dont forget iirc you have 28 days to get the supplying dealer to sort out all faults you find,so if you feel this judder is not normal i would have a word with them. and mirez is correct about the cam belt.
