try it if it works hurruh,if not dam. as you have found some cars will enter reprogramming easily and some will not.

iirc you wont get much change out of 200 quid if its dead,BUT this forum has a fix for it :( :D found in the faqs,run on pump. detailed instructions on how to mend it.

thr run on pump can be heard from inside the car when the engine is turned off,its a humming noise,it pumps the coolant round the system to stop hot spots.

you should be able to hear it for a few minutes after turning the engine off. or undo bonnet locate the pump and give it a feel(ooo errrr)you should then feel it humming. anyway hopefully fingers crossed youve got it sorted.

yeah i think your running the free version of vag? so certain parts of it are locked until you part with more dosh to unlock it.

you might have to take the rear door card off,im sure there are instructions on here somewhere,so you can gain access to the lock etc. then once opened i would check the wiring in the rubber boot top right hand corner instructions in the faqs in the technical section of the forum.

yeah im sure someone has posted that it is possible to remove the card when door is locked, make sure you remove all bolts etc then it should just slide up??
