its nothing to do with the warranty, when i bought the car i notified them of the problem within the ist 28 days of ownership,thus the sale of goods act comes into play,hence i threatened them with rejection of the car(so i think)this still applys,so this is comming out of the dealers pocket and not the warranty companies pocket,everything they have done to the car theyve sorted (eventually)out,THINK ITS BEGINING TO REALLY PI55 THEM OFF,but as the saying goes FACE,F...KING BOVERD er no!!!!!!

right an up date on my booster heater saga.finally received a phone call from the dealer who i bought the car from today(after various visits and shouting rather loudly) well the firm who carried out the first repair LO AND BEHOLD went into liquidation :lol: :lol: but they still had my heater and have started up again with a slight change in there name,they contacted the dealer today to say THEYVE FINALLY put it on the bench to do a test and basically the brains inside are FUBAR'D and that it was going to cost(the dealer)over 200 quid,NOW THATS ON TOP OF THE 204 POUNDS THEY CHARGED THEM TO CARRY OUT THE SO CALLED REPAIR IN THE FIRST PLACE so my reply to the dealer was perhaps in FUTURE he should listen to his mug punters for once when they try to give them a bit of advice, so the dealer has refused to allow them to FIX IT and is now trying to source one from his contacts(ME THINKS FORDS ARE GOING TO GET A PHONE CALL)part suppliers and bear with him F**K ME BEAR WITH HIM ive been bearing with them for the last 6-7 months,he has assured me they will sort it out and give me a working booster heater.i wait with baited breath.

hi deano the reason you cannot see any pics is because you are new to the forum,once you have posted iirc 5 times you will be able to view them. yes the brackets can be bought from the stealers,but try vw and seat as well as fords,but they sometimes come up on ebay as well,hth.

the one thats fitted in the mondeo im driving at the moment has a wire that goes up into the roof lining(i assume)connected to the interior lights?and on the mirror itself has an auto button and a off button,the one on my galaxy has nothing(unless)it does it automatically?.

ive been driving around in a mondeo ghia for the last few days and quite like the auto dimming mirror it has fitted,is there an easy way i could possible fit one to my galaxy?
