IIRC if there has been 5 flame out codes,then its locked out and will not even try to start,why not clear the fault codes and see whether it kicks in?

er think you will find within the 1st 28 days they have an obligation to rectify any faults that come up with the car,check out the trade and standards web site for info,FOREARMED IS FOREWARNED. ;)

Good luck! Saying they want the car for 2 days sounds like they don't have a clue what they are going to do but hopefully within that time they will stumble across something that has been causing the problem. and no doubt charge you for the privilege of doing so!!!!!!!

er did you buy the car from a dealer if so why dont you just take it back and ask them to fix the problems,if not are kwik fit still doing there regas on the cheap?try them at least they might be able to tell you what could be wrong.

if the aircon panel is flashing thats indicating a fault of some kind,might just need regasing,or something else is afoot.

thanx for the reply,i did say to her i thought it sounded like a flap stuck,is it an easy fix,she wants to get this fixed this week i just thought id ask in here for a heads up to see if its an easy fix.

if it is the cables,im sure someones selling a set on ebay,look under galaxy/sharan/alhambra,dunno how much they cost at the stealers but might be of use to you, hth,and hope you get a cheap fix.

hi peeps wonder if anyone can shed some light on my friends heating,when turned on and switched to hot only cold air blows out,when put on air con blows even colder,all settings seem to work ok apart from lack of hot air coming out of the vents, any ideas??????? regards gregers

i was always led to believe that if you are in charge of any vehicle then anything the police find wrong with it,then the blame is yours and yours alone.

no im sure the battery is just used for remote locking/unlocking,might be worth trying to reprogram the key?take a look in the faqs for the procedure.

dunno mines still at the menders :lol: apparently it was being bench tested on wednesday also was told they have a little brain and they EXPERTS reckoned it had locked it self out!!!!!!

or find a friendly diagnostics technician who will be able to do it on the sly :lol: .

we had yesterday from our housing association a survey to fill out,generally about there services and the like and lo and behold one of the last questions on it was sexual orientation,me and the missus were tempted to but bi sexual,but in the end we put mind your own business, surely if they need to know this,then the individual would have already told them so they could offer any help needed?
