i do agree about the level it should be set to zero, this is the same old chess nut about driving without a license or insurance when the arseholes who continue doing it finally get caught they get a paltry fine until the authorities put the fines into perspective then there really is no way they are going to be persuaded to change.

id still get the police involved anyway, that way you get an incident number for your insurance company and if the police pay him a vist he will not be thinking he has a chance of getting away with it.

my license didnt have the current address on it and i didnt get fined when i got pulled over 1 night,(suspicious 2 blokes in a van)at 130am but luckily i did have my insurance on me to prove everything in fact the 2 coppers laughed coz i had moved a couple of years previously ;) mind you it was the same old chestnut when they approached the drivers window,HAVE YOU BEEN DRINKING SIR because i can smell alcohol,er no you cant,then it must be your mate then(who was fast asleep catching flies)always amazes me is they pull you over because theyve spotted something then the first thing they say is i can smell alcohol,in my case they had spotted that i didnt have the hasp and staple attached the the rear door and assumed i might of stolen the van(i didnt mind in getting stopped)just it took them 15 mins to tell me.

well if you didnt manage to watch top gear this evening then it will be repeated during the week, but i want that opel,bloody brilliant the way it managed to finish with only a 40bhp engine DESPITE IT BEING OVER 40 YEARS OLD. mind you the beetle managed to finish it without(so it appeared)a single breakdown? bloody funny usual.

personally i think after reading all the questions put to him,he is rather expensive for a lot of the parts,ive seen a lot of parts cheaper on ebay.

i was told that,i do have some history with it,from another ford dealer who i will phone and ask if they have done a change,apparently your local ford dealer will only have work you instruct on there computer but any warranty work will be on there national data base,but i also have history from when it was in germany alas this is in german i keep meaning to take it into work to be deciphered :blink: i enquired because the car has now done 65k,so im hopeing that it was changed at the 40k interval :P

well we were meant to be going to the battle bonfire and fire works this evening and the youngest has got an acute bout of tonsillitis so thats put the carbosh on that then,poor little mite this is his 4th bout of it so far this year another 2 and they will refer him to have them removed. we went last year and it was bloody brilliant,if any of you have been you will know what i mean. ifany of you are going to any fireworks or having any have a good and safe time.

have paid a visit to the local ford stealers to enquire about info on changing the timing belt,after searching on here and contacting nikpv for info into this,they have told me it is 40000 miles,now DO I TAKE THIS AS GOSPEL?as there seems to so much confusion on this topic between the 40k and 60k intervals.

well dont worry,apparently there now going to investigate whether immigrants get preferential treatment over housing,mmmm no doubt it will come back no they dont. perhaps mum if you didnt drink like a fish or smoke like chimney or live like a nun then your be better off :19: :wub: we live in rented accommodation and we were told(when we needed a bigger house)that we would have to wait approximately 4-5 years,and to sell our lounge furniture and turn it into bedroom,bloody amazing that it was a 2 bedroom house,i can just imagine if we had done that they wouldve then charged us property tax for a 3 bed. another thing i found bloody strange years ago when i had no work i had to sign on and was entitled to benefits(DOLE)BECAUSE I HAD PAID MY TAX AND INSURANCE it was 1 pound more a week then social security,but if i hadnt paid my dues then i would have been entitled to the social WHICH ENTITLES YOU to free prescriptions,eye tests,dentistry etc etc,BUT THE DOLE ENTITLED YOU TO ABSOLUTELY SOD ALL,hows that work then you pay into the system then require a bit of help and then you bloody get penalized for doing it,dont pay get everything free,NOW THERES A REASON TO PAY YOUR DUES.

could you not test the door switches,im sure if you remove the switches and bridge the wires then the lights should work?but are you absolutely certain that the wires in the door pillars are not broken?

post a pic then maz,then we all can say if there ok or not.

we applied for dla for my youngest,he was born with club feet(bi lateral tali pies)we are not entitled to it at all,they told us to reapply when he is 5,we had to fight tooth and nail to obtain a disabled badge for him because of all the hospital appointments he had to have, p****s me off when you hear someone with a splinter getting it,talk about abusing the system!!!!!
