Just an update to you all.... I have been in there again today but my part has not arrived yet. Again i took my heater glow plug with me. He read the code off it which is 0 100 226 228 and yet again i asked him to confirm the price. They had another type there too. I had a look at it and it seemed to be a longer plug so i left it. So as it stands im sitting here eating yet another turkey sarnie and waiting for a phone call.

You mean, 00550 Injection commencement regulation. There are a number of possible reasons for this;1) Commencement of injection valve (N108) defective, this is inside the distributor pump.2) Needle lift sender (G80) defective, number 3 injectior.3) Fuel tank empty.4) Fuel supply not OK., fuel shortage.5) Air in fuel system.6) Start of delivery not OK, COI setting.The first thing to do is to set the Commencement Of Injection (COI) timing. To do this you need to get the engine temperature above 85

My partner use to work at RSA. I have asked her what she thinks. She say's they are more than likely agents they deal direct with RSA or whoever and will get Comission for selling the insurance. It could be because your Wii chipped ? Maybe its the wrong format for your region/TV (NTSC/NTSC-J/PAL) i got these answers when i googled it for you. Maybe it could be that you are playing a game which is for a different region ? But i have this feeling that your wii is for a different region. Im no expert tho mate. Im just trying to help.

My kids had a wii today but they are in bed so i can't ask them. I remember once i had a game station plugged into the wrong scart socket and it done that. Tell us all how it's connected on your tv and someone will help if i can't. I think i sound like you :lol:

I went into my local gsf car parts store today. I enquired about the price of a glowplug for the aux heater. The glowplugs come in two different types and both are Beru. I was supprised to find just how cheap they are. I looked on ebay and found they were

Just to update all on this problem. The idling problem was down to being sold a duff mass sensor. Rang up the shop where i got it from and they replaced it. They were more than happy to help. Which is rare these days. I still haven't got to the bottom of my starting problem tho. Many thanks for your advice :rolleyes:

Well I hope you get sniff rid of that sniff so that it don't sniff ruin you sniffin christmas. I have a sniffin problem. Unlike yours mine is down to a problem with my sniffin nose. An operation later and 8 sniffin years, YES 8 sniffin years and I still have IT. All the doctor does is give me steroid spray :rolleyes:

I would just like to say that recently I bought a new maf and got what I thought was a good deal and from a respected maker of quality pattern parts. No it wasn't ! It gave me lots of problems. I had idle problems and fuel consumtion was poor. The car was good on acceleration when it was fitted (cos the other was knackered) but when my gal idled it was all over the place. Maybe I had bought just a duff one but I bought other parts thinking it was ok. I have just disconnected it to check if the maf is the problem with the idling. The car is idling better with out it so far (although it has been today only). I am going to pay the extra from now on and go to frauds because when I bought one from there before it was fine. PLEASE NOTE im not saying not to get pattern parts just note sometimes new parts can be faulty. Please (unlike me) check, if a fault occurs check the new part as well. :rolleyes:

If it was me with the problem and the original lasted so long i would stick with that. Others may work fine for now but with my knowledge of batteries will they last as long ? Give a person stress and how do they cope ? :rolleyes:

I second that CM2007. My gal has done 161000 miles and i will only use the best regardless of cost. If you skimp now it will not pay you later. My engine is perfect. Granted other things have failed but the engine is fine. The only thing that that fails often is the nut behind the wheel. :rolleyes:

I have a mk2 i do love it but with 161000 miles on it problems are growing and i still haven't sorted them. Maybe it's time to change :o
