  1. Hi Kebrina The thing to remember is these thing can happen any car, even Galaxy's and don't forget the price for that Jeep is $3000 which is only about
  2. Hi Dave I had a similar problem with a skoda earlier in the year, no signs of a leak, so I dreaded the worse, checked the oil, and no oil in the water, but if I drove less that 60mph did not seem to loose any, but got on the motorway and 70 mph or more, then it just drank it, but no sign of any water leak. I eventually took it into the dealers (I had a warranty) and they traced the leak to the radiator, it leaked but because it was hot, it just evaporated, and just to mention no difference on the temp gauge, so new Rad and all is fine. Might not be your problem, but worth a check if you are still having problems. Radiotwo
  3. John You state that the adjustment cannot be done by VCDS as per Ross tech, so why are you asking ? But I would have thought 409 version software would not do it any way as that is very old hat, and as far as I believe is no longer supported by ross tech, in fact I am not sure that version will do any adjustment, it will only read fault codes. 4. Some times it make you wonder if its worth answering these questions ! They put a question on and you never see them again !! Radiotwo
  5. Hi What sort of sun roof is it, Slide and tilt, or Flip up type? Radiotwo
  6. Have you tried adjusting the external belts ? you say you have changed the alternator pulley, so I suspect to try that belt first Radiotwo
  7. What its your birthday again ! I thought you had one last year !! any way many happy returns when ever it is, and good luck with the car (don't tell Biscuit, I think his other halve wants one ) Radiotwo
  8. Hi Francis The problem is that you will have can-bus, and the switching is done for the radio by the ecu, but you can get adaptors from car radio type places that will do the job for you and they are about
  9. Hi crazybear Scotch locks are not the best way to connect wireing, they are not very relabel, so when you start having problems check the scotch locks first. The best way to connect the wires is to cut back a small amount of insulation, and solder the wires and re-insulate, you will have a much better reliable which will never fail Radiotwo
  10. send me your email address via a PM Radiotwo
  11. Hi Foxy Sounds like you are having problems ! But you still need to give some more info: You say the glow plug light does not come on, in warm conditions you don't need the glow plugs (you only need them in very cold conditions), but from your comment you say " the glow plug relay was disconnected) but you say you changed the relay, but you need to check the wiring, but as you say it starts and then cuts out, how long does it run for ? You also mentioned about the immobilizer, if it was the this, the car would not even turn over, so its not that ! As I say you need to try a few things, What is the battery voltage ? is the car turning over ok ! (at the right speed) Have you got fuel in the car ? if so is it getting through to the engine?? Have you got any one to give you a tow start? Come back to us with some more answers and take it from there Radiotwo

  15. Swagger I don't know what you are really after ? with regards to the battery ! as when you are driving the power comes from the Alternator, so as long as the Alternator is rated high enough, it will run everything. I also think you are mistaken with your ideas of power, if as you say 110 Watts that is only 9 amps which is nothing ! a Alternator is rated about 100 Amps ! Radiotwo
  16. Hi Foxy The only problem with bypassing the immobilizer, is if the car is nicked and the insurance checks it out and find its been tampered with the may not pay up a theft claim ! The best thing is to find what the problem is, so why don't you ask on here and say what is or not happening, and give some sort of times it happens and what has the "mechanic" done to fix it Radiotwo
  17. Brian Hello and welcome to the forum. You will have to explain a little clearer, but I assume you mean the n/s indicator does not work but the O/S is ok on the trailer ! and the indicators work fine on the car !! If the indicator does not work, it could be a few things, you need to first check the car is wired ok, ie Pin "1" on the socket is live when the indicator is switched on, if you have 12V (on/off) at the socket, open the plug and see if the yellow wire is connected to pin one in the plug (in fact check all connections) then at the lights on the trailer take the lens off and check the bulb (this the most likely fault, either blown or a bad earth) if these are ok, check to see if you have 12 volts at the terminal (again on/off). http://www.motorcycle.co.uk/Reference-material/Motorcycle-Trailer-wiring-codes.aspx Radiotwo
  18. There is nothing wrong with the site speed its your broadband speed Radiotwo
  19. Mark, you don't need to shout ! You will know if the vac pump is working if you pull the pipe off, and stick your finger over the end and it will suck on the finger
  20. Hi Keeyth Have you checked the belt ? is it tight enough or snapped?? if not, take it back for a replacement, the battery won't cause a problem to the alternator Radiotwo
  21. I would not even bother ! First you cannot measure how much gas is going in, but the system should be vacuumed out to detect the leaks (or why would you want to top it up any way) and then when you refill with the gas it needs measuring and oil needs adding as well. Other than it being illegal to let the gas out your self, its easer just to take to a expert ! Radiotwo
  22. Hi KFA I am not sure, but I suspect the wires are for heating elements for the nozzles, and nothing else. But the worse thing you can do is remove the pipe and stick a airline where the pipe fits as all you do is (if there is any dirt in there) you just further compact the muck. What you need to do is blast it the other way so the dirt drops out Radiotwo
  23. How do you know it is still pressurized ? If there is not enough gas, the compressor will not cut in !Rdiotwo
  24. Don't be shy !
