  1. Too much, so going to have it done on the insurance
  2. Thanks for the info guys. Went to Auto Glass this morning to ask about poloshing the scratches out but they dont do it. They say it could leave sqwirly patterns on the glass, i spose it makes sence. So im just going to have to bite the bullet and get a new one fitted and hope it doesnt leak
  3. Hhhhhmmmm it seems that RAC is the company to aviod then. Going to have a chat with Auto Glass this morning to see what they think. Hoping they can polish them out
  4. the boy got upset by an earlier reply I made :) it got pulled by the mods as it was too much for his delicate skin :D b*gger I missed that :D :D :D Me tooooo Lets have a replay :D
  5. Cheers Hairy. They have a depot about 3 mls from home so may pop in to have a chat. Nothing to loose. Got to do something as its awfull in the sun and nearly hit somone on a zebra crossing the other day cos it was dazling me so much
  6. Has anyone else got any advice on this subject. My screen has been scratched by the wipers by the previous owner, in this low winter sunshine it has a bad effect on visability . Does anyone know if its possible to have it polished out as they dont seen to be deep and would rather that than having screen replaced as it is leakproof. Cheers folks
  7. The words HALFORDS and GOOD in one sentence hhhhhmmmmm
  8. Only after taking care and taking your time can u use brute bloody force :D :D :D
  9. Nice n cold at 4am this morning and the booster rocket fired up no probs for the first time since last winter :D
  10. Dont touch the sheild, too dirty and no need. I used a flat blade screw driver and a bit of care and out she popped. Its only held in by small plastic clips on the back. Youll have the job done in 10 mins
  11. Simple. Just remove the black plastic strip from the bumper, this levers out from the end. Then have a good look inside the bumper (a torch may be handy) then fish the sensor out with a bit of wire and pop it back into the holder on the inside of the black plastic strip. If the holder has come unstuck also like mine did then a good dollop of a good strong glue will fix it.
  12. Its a mobile kebab van down our way
  13. Oh i thought that if you saw a fish on the back of a car it meant that you ate all of a jumbo cod meal at Harry Ramsdons. Sorry my mistake
  14. Had a great time, not too busy. We also fed up with fixed beds as you dont get enough space for during the day. Would also like 4 single beds. Best we could find was to have a 6 berth but not use the bunks, but just a waste of money.
  15. Yup off in the morning to spend the day with the weekend gypsy gang. Hope its worth it.
  16. Dont think ya gonna want a very big car park eh :D
  17. Thank you. I now understand, cos i thought people were using it all the time instead of soapy water. Maybe i am lucky cos my wheels dont get ingrained dust but the wheels on the wifes Pug do so maybe a trip to Halfrauds is on the cards
  18. I use Wonder Wheels cleaner on mine, absolutely brilliant stuff. :o When was the last time you saw a physio with a magic sponge? No self respecting one would be seen without the magic 'spraycan' these days Wonder what is in it, a concentrated dose of placebo I bet. I must be missing the point here i think. Ok so ive just washed my wheels with soapy water and a sponge, they are looking lovely and shiny :D apart from the bits pealing off. :o Along comes Mr spray can and goes to work on the wheels. How can it make them look any better if there is no dirt or dust left to clean off. :D I know things like back to black makes the tyes all shinny but thats about it. If i could be convinced i would go out and get some but at moment im struggling to understand. Maybe ive just got my thick head on :D
  19. All the different products on the market nowadays but i still say you cant beat a good bucket of hot soapy water and a sponge for cleaning the wheels. I cant see how cleaning products can be any better cos once theyre clean theyre clean (or am i wrong) ;)
  20. I see there are loads of VW flick type keys on ebay so how easy is it to reprogram them to your own car. Is it a trip to Frauds (o god)
  21. Mine does it also. Fixed mine by turning the radio up :o :D :) :)
  22. I used to have a set of 18" with Extra load but only 92, would these have been ok or not :)
