  3. Time for a trip down memory lane :D 1. Vauxhall Viva. Known as the Love Bug. (Well we were all 17 once) :D 2. Talbot Avenger. Changed the engine from 1.3 to 1.5 so ready to race the world :( 3. Ford Cortina 1.6 GL. Thrashed the nuts off it for 3 years without a seconds trouble :D 4. Ford Orion 1.6i Ghia. Good car just got bored with it :D 5. Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9. this will ALWAYS be my best car. Done over 100K in 5 years and never put a spanner on it. Lowered Koni adjustables so boy did it go around corners. Plan to buy one someday to restore. :D At the same time also had a Talbot Sunbeam Lotus 2.2 Twin cam. Very fast car in a straight line just couldnt get it to go around corners or stop the damn thing. :D Dont think ill ever own two rally championship winning cars at the same time again. ( Got 2 kids instead) :D 6. Peugout 306 D Turbo. Good car but the one after the 205 so it had no chance really :D 7. Ford Mondeo MK1 2.5 V6 Ghia. Great car. Lovely engine. :D 8. Mazda 323 2.0 V6, Probably the only Jap car that wouldnt start in the mornings but looked stunning on the driveway :D 9. Ford Galaxy Mk1 2.8. Nice car but just a little bit thirsty. Air con didnt work thinking about it. How you live and Learn. :D 10. Ford Mondeo Mk 3 TD DI. Nice car but wanted the TD CI :D 11. Ford Mondeo MK 3 Estate TD CI ( You knew that was coming ) :D 12. BMW 330d Touring (E46) God what a diesel. Nearly 200 BHP. Never had a car with torque like that before. :D 13. Ford Galaxy Ghia 115 TDI Needed more space. Seemed very sluggish after the Beemer but love it to bits :D
  4. Well the latest development is that National windscreens are going to do it. They phoned me this morning more or less beging for the job. problem being the car is in constant use what with work and school runs etc. so only time available is after school at 4PM. I asked if they will have enough time as it gets dark so early, Yeh no probs, it wont take long for a couple of guys to pop that in for you he said. Hhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmm Are you all thinking what im thinking here. I will be watching their every move cos i can see this being a rush job at the end of the day. even thought about taking close up photos to prove that there are no marks anywhere before they do the job or am i just getting paranoid
  5. I done my own oil change a few months ago and got the oil from Frauds. Just asked for oil for a Gal to see what the gave me. Amazement amazement they gave me the right stuff  So i guess SOME Frauds have a bit more idea than others but then again you wouldnt need much eh
  6. I would sit down with a cup of tea and watch them (was at work when they did mine and regret it) Change of plan Sounded very cowboyish on the phone so decided not to. Only other company my insurance deal with is RAC (oh great). Sounded proffesional on phone but cant do it until Wednesday but need car all week. So no idea what to do now. Wanted Auto Glass to do it but they want
