Window Tinting Help Needed Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee
adrianf. replied to a topic in Customising your Ford Galaxy
I tried this a few years ago on a car i had and in the end gave up. just cant get rid of the creases and like you say it looks crap if not right I take it you are using lots of soapy solution and a flat scraper sort of thing. I would say buy a Gal with it fitted, may cost loads but at least youll keep you hair -

RANT FOR ROYAL MAIL So how does the postman put the envelope through the letterbox when the letterbox isnt big enough to take a LARGE envelope (Most letterboxs are too small). Would you preffer to have to go all the way to the delivery office to collect it or maybe just use some "extra labour" and bend the envelope back. Unless it actually states on the envelope DO NOT BEND then it is perfectly OK to bend them. One tired postman feeling better after MY moan... <_<

Going back a few years i had a MK1 Mondy with the 2.5. All i can say is i found the engine to be fantastic. Very smooth, very quiet with loads of torque. Not the fastest V6 on the road but it gave me 3 years trouble free motoring and i would buy one again with worries. All 2.5 are V6 and i would go for the estate. I had the new shape estate with a TDCI and it was a great car and somtimes wish i still had it.

Another Tyre Question
adrianf. replied to adrianf.'s topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
Ah i see. Am i right in thinking that the Gal needs a minimum of 95 load index or not as ive seen extra load but only 92 load index -
Could someone please tell me if there is any difference between a tyre saying reinforced and one saying extra load if they both have the same load index. Im sick to death of getting conflicting opinions from tyre dealers who only care if they sell you a tyre or not. One dealer even told me that if i only carry 7 people now and again i SHOULD be ok with a lower index. I suppose that ok if i only get a blow out now and again (no smutty jokes please). Any help would be great as im pulling what little hair ive got left out.... :D :16: ;)

:D A few months after buying my first diesel Gal 115 2002 i decided to do a oil and filter change. So off i go to my local Fraud dealer to buy the oil and filter, whilst paying the top grease monkey (supervisor) came into the reception. I asked him could you tell me if the filter is done from underneath or on top please as ive never done the Gal oil before. Oh its done from underneath sir, thanks very much i say and off i go. well i wont even tell you how long i spent looking for that bloody filter. Anyway once found it the job was so easy but would have been a lot quicker if i hadnt of asked. The same dealer serviced a V6 Mondeo for me a couple of years ago. Booked in two weeks in advance but when i collected the car was told.... you will have to bring the car back sir as we dont have any spark plugs for it. I said your a main dealer for gods sake but needless to say i had to take the car back 3 days later. When you consider what thease places charge for their parts and labour etc i dont think its too much to ask for a bit of good sevice. Moan over................for now

Hi gang. Sorry this is nothing to do with a Gal but i need some help. The reversing light on the wifes pug 307 has packed up. Changed bulb.....No good New gearbox switch.... No good. If i run a wire from the battery to the connection off the gearbox switch it will light up so that tells me the circuit to the bulb is ok. Seems like there may be a break in the power getting to the switch or does the switch only make and break the EARTH. Any thoughts on this would be great as the French tin box is driving me mad.

Why dont you try some of the specialist ford magazines. I know it will cost a few quid but at least the only people looking at them are people who know what they are looking at. No disrespect but to alot of people who know nothing about cars its just a bright yellow mondeo thats probably been tarted up by a backwards fitted baseball cap wearer with jeans hanging off their arse. Give it a try you never know, then you can have all the problems us Gal owners have....
